Gold ring recovered in Spring Lake NJ

Got a call from Victoria asking for help in finding a ring special to her she lost at Spring Lake Beach NJ. While enjoying the day with her mother at the beach, she took off all her rings to brush her hair seeing the length and a little breezy out she didn’t want them to get caught in her hair. She put them on the towel between their chairs but not knowing her mom lifted the towel and they dropped into the sand. They found all but one. After a few passes I found her ring just off to the side where the towel was. She was glad to get her ring back that ment so much to her. Another happy ending for all.

Family Heirloom Necklace Recovered in Sea Girt NJ

Got a text from Jason asking for help to locate his necklace that was lost on Sea Girt beach the day before. I called him and told him I could be there within a half hour if he wanted to meet me to show me where they were. I met him and he showed me the general area he remembered they were sitting and told me that his son was wearing the necklace and gave it to him to go swimming so not to lose it. Jason put it into the cup holder on his beach chair and forgot about it. Not sure where it was lost, we both hoped it was in the area where he was and it fell out when he folded the chair to leave. I started a grid of the area and about the 5th pass of the grid I got a solid signal, I took a scoop of sand and I saw the cross sticking out of the sand at the bottom of the hole. I reached down and pulled the chain out and held it up. Jason was so relieved and happy I was able to return it to him being an heirloom from the family. A happy ending for all.

Found it! While on the beach this beautiful weekend she removed her ring and put it on her towel to apply sunscreen and never put it back on. Not realizing what she had done until she got back to her beach house near panic had set in until a friend recommended my services. Arriving a couple hours later and searching the area in light rain I hit pay dirt (sand) and had her ring in my scoop! I walked back to her house as she was keeping out of the rain and held the ring out for her to see. Sheer joy came upon her worried face. Another happy customer!

Lost Earring on Beach Avalon,NJ Recovered by NJ Lost Ring Finder!

I received a call from a woman who had contacted the Avalon Police department in hopes they could help her to locate her lost diamond and gold earring she had lost on the beach entrance way the night before. They passed on my information to her as I had done many successful recoveries on the beaches over the years. We agreed that we would meet the following morning at the entrance. On site she explained how she had lost it while taking pictures with girlfriends and was sure the earring was in a small area of the sand. I decided to use my White’s V3i metal detector with a small coil for the job as it is very sensitive to smaller items like earrings. I was able to use her matching earring to compare the audio/visual signal on my detector and after a couple of minutes of searching I found the missing earring in the sand. The beautiful earrings were once again a set and a very happy customer was able to enjoy the rest of her vacation with friends.

I received a call from a guy who had lost his gold wedding ring of 44 years of marriage on the beach during his morning swim. he stated that he had taken the ring off and put it in his hat on his T shirt on the beach while swimming. After swimming he picked up the shirt and hat but forgot about the ring inside and it disappeared into the sand. Fortunately his daughter did a quick internet search and also checked with the beach patrol and came up with my information. A couple hours later I was greeted by his wife at the beach house and we walked up to the beach location. By now the beach was busy and I asked for the client to remove their chairs and towels from the area to begin my search. After about 10 minutes my metal detector sounded off and the ring was in my scoop! An immediate applause was given by the onlooking beach crowd and the very happy couple of 44 years marriage. Another happy customer!

Lost Wedding Ring in Ship Bottom,NJ Recovered by Ed Cropski

I received a call from Frank who explained that while jumping off a dock while on vacation he had lost his wedding ring 2 weeks ago. He stated that the location was on the bay and during low tide the water was only a few feet deep and the bottom was firm sand. Although he had attempted to search for it in the area he was unsuccessful. We agreed to meet at the location the following weekend with the outgoing tide and as I entered the water I felt confident with the search as the conditions were as he had described and the area was small. After about 40 minutes of digging stainless steel screws from the recently constructed dock and a few trash items I was starting my 2nd grid search of the area and received a nice solid gold signal from my White’s metal detector. Sliding my long handle sand scoop into the sand I was happy to seeing his gold ring laying in the bottom as the water washed the sand away. Overlooking from the dock above a sudden look of happiness and relief came to his face as I said “Bingo!”and handed him the ring. He was very thankful and called his wife right away with the great news! Another great day! Recovery #94

Lost Car Keys on Beach in Stone Harbor,NJ Recovered!

  • from South Jersey (New Jersey, United States)

I received a call from a panicking woman on the beach who had lost the only key to her car on the beach earlier in the day. Not sure what to do she contacted the local police department and they suggested calling me since I have done numerous lost jewelry recoveries in the area and I may be able to help with the use of my metal detecting equipment. After a brief phone call we agreed to give a try and I met her on the beach a couple hours later. Showing me the area where she had entered/exited the beach and where she was sunbathing for the day I began to grid the area and search for the key with my Whites MX Sport metal detector. Not having any luck where she was sitting with friends I started my way towards the exit into the soft white sand and received a signal. Scooping the sand into my sifter there was the key! She was extremely relieved that I had found it and not have to call a locksmith and could continue her weekend of fun at the beach with friends. 13423949_10206717418324679_4569256086466499766_n13432176_10206717418404681_524665419159672246_n
