Karen was at a small beach in Huntington Harbor when she lost her Cartier Wedding Ring. She tried combing through the sand for a while without any luck.

Another resident helped her by posting her loss on social media and that’s when my friend tagged me on the post and I shared my info so she could reach out to me.

Karen called me a short time later with details about her loss and said she could meet me in an hour. I decided to go and try to find the ring right away without waiting for her.

I got lucky and started in the right place because I found her ring in about 5 minutes. I called her to verify that I had the correct ring. She met me at my house to pick up her ring and let me know how thankful she was.

Mariana called me around 6am this morning and stated that she and her husband Erik were  enjoying a fire at the beach the night before.

Mariana put both her wedding and engagement rings in the cup holder of her chair for safe keeping while doing the usual beach activities.

When it was time to leave she picked up her beach chair then remembered her rings were in the cup holder only to find one of them fell out.

The state beach was closing so they had to give up their search. They showed up early the next morning and began searching again when a passerby asked them what they were looking for then forwarded my information to them.

I was able to find her ring amongst all the pieces of foil, pull tabs and bottle caps that are always present near the fire pits.

Thanks to the person who passed my information on to them.

Hector and his wife were enjoying a nice day at the beach when she stood up after placing her rings on her dress. They went airborne and plunged into the soft sand, they searched the small area for 20 minutes but could not locate them. This was a quick recovery, I had both rings out of the sand in about 2 minutes and they were very happy to get the rings back.

Aaron lost his ring while tossing a nerf football with his friend down by the water. He was very distraught about his Platinum Ring falling into the ocean and had already called his wife to let her know.

When I arrived he showed me the area where they were playing and I started my search but soon Aaron said he hadn’t gone that far so I tried the other side of the search area and soon  received a nice signal on my detector.

After I dug down with my scoop I rinsed out the sand and saw a large sand crab and in the corner of my scoop was also his ring. I said to him,”look at the sand crab I found” and he looked in the scoop and was very surprised when he saw his ring.

Mike found me on Yelp and needed help searching for his keys and key fob. I drove to his place in Irvine and he explained to me that the night before his wife Pamela threw the keys to him.

I started to search the thick bushes that were between where Pamela threw the keys and where Mike was supposed to catch them. I didn’t have any luck so I checked the trajectory of the throw and realized I should look up into the tree.

As soon as I mentioned the tree we all looked up and Mike spotted the keys right away.

I was about to leave the beach when I got a loud signal and dug down over 12” in the wet sand when the iPhone appeared. It was wet but in very good condition.

When I got home I cleaned it and dried it in a bag of rice in the sun. Later I plugged it in and it started charging and actually turned on when I pressed the power button.

Since the phone was locked I removed the SIM card and put it in a different iphone and from the settings you can access the phone number to that SIM card.

I called the number and left a message, later that night Oscar called me back and I told him I found an iPhone and he acknowledged it was his and described it to me.

He was very grateful as he had photos and other media that was important to him. He sent me his address and I mailed his iPhone to his house.

Brianna and Garret called me to ask if I could help find her engagement ring that was just lost at the beach. I could tell she was very upset and I told her I would meet them in about 10 minutes.

When I arrived it was around 8pm and they were right by a lifeguard tower in the dry sand. Apparently she took off her ring to clean the sand off her feet and left the ring on a blanket when her fiancé Garret picked up the blanket and the ring disappeared into the sand.

These are the easy hunts because they knew the ring was in a small area. The ring was my first signal I received on my detector and as I was using my hands to try and find it Brianna spots the ring before I did and reaches down and plucks it out from the sand.

Have a wonderful wedding in August!

Carly texted me and asked if I could help her find her key fob and Ford Bronco key. Her Sister borrowed her vehicle to go to the beach the night before and unfortunately dropped her keys in the sand, Carly was not to happy with her Sister.

I met Carly and her Dad at the beach shortly after she texted me and started my hunt based on a video her Sister took while at the beach, it was key to getting me in the right place.

They had to leave to run an errand while I continued to grid the area, I found another set of keys with a key fob that were partly rusted while looking for hers. After about 12 passes I was able to find her lost key and key fob.

Susan called me and said her friend Mike lost his wedding band at the beach. Mike had placed his ring in the cup holder of his chair and when it was time to leave he picked up the chair and the ring went flying into the sand. When I arrived at the beach I saw Mike with a kids plastic shovel trying to search for his ring. He was happy to see me and all it took was less then two minutes of searching to find it. Susan and Mike were very pleased with The Ring Finders service.

I received a call from Chanel to see if I could help her find her wedding ring. She had been at dog beach when she realized her ring was slipping off her finger so she took it off and put it on top of her backpack. Soon after a dog was digging in the sand and threw sand on top of her backpack, forgetting about her ring she picked up the backpack to shake off the sand and her ring disappeared.

Chanel met me at the beach and we walked to the area where she had been the day before. I started searching and right away I got several signals, a dog tag, 2 toy monster trucks and a dime. The next signal sounded really good and when I scooped up some sand I saw her ring in the hole. I called her over to look in the hole and she reached in and grabbed it with a big smile on her face.

Thanks for calling The Ring Finders
