A lost TUNGSTEN WEDDING RING WITH 3 DIAMONDS was found west of Sundre, Alberta Canada by Kevin Niefer the TV METAL DETECTIVE. They were up in the foothills where people go 4 wheel driving and ride on quads. The Bride and Groom were having a mud fight for their wedding photos and the groom lost his ring in a large mud puddle. Everyone in the wedding party tried looking for it. The ring wasn’t found even after six people put in about six hours. They even rented their own metal detector with no luck. I was able to find it in 20 minutes. This made two people very happy. Now the groom was out of the doghouse and their lives full of wedded bliss could begin……..

Wedding party after looking for six hours with detector
This guy is one happy husband. While out having a smoke out on the back deck he tossed his cigarret but into to snow and off went his wedding ring. He went and searched for a long time in the snow and was unable to find the ring. I recieved a call from Clarance in a panic had to find his ring out he would be in the dog house with his wife. He asked me if I could go and find it.He explained he was at work and couldn’t get away.He told me the area where it might be. I headed ver right away and when I arrived I could see all the foot steps in the snow where he was looking.I started doing a grid and in about ten minutes I found the gold weddding band. I hoped in my car and headed over to his work.He asked if I found it.I held up the ring and asked him does it look like this.He oh way baby that’s it. H e couldn’t thanks me enough. As you can see how happy he was after I returned the ring to him. Good thing or he would have been sleeping out side.
It was early Sunday morning I received a call I guy lost a ring. He left a message telling me he lost his dad’s wedding band.I guess he lost it in the back yard while shooting hockey pucks with his son. He had just put it on the night before had it in a box for the last year and a half since his dad had past away.On the Friday night while out with friends his buddy was telling him how he wore his dad’s ring on a necklace around his neck to remember his dad.He liked that Idea so he just put his dad’s ring on his pinkie finger. Then that next day while playing with the kids the ring fell off.He looked for a long time couldn’t find it.He wasn’t sure if the lost it in the front yard backyard or if it went over next door.I called him back and headed out to his home.I got him to show me the area where he might of lost it. I guess the night before he couldn’t even sleep he was just sick to stomach.
The ring meant a lot to him and he had to find it. I searched the yard for about a half hour and found the ring for him. This guy was one happy dude after that. His dad had a big impact 0n him and the ring was one way to remember his dad. I was so glad to recover the gold wedding band / ring and return it to him. Kevin Niefer Calgary Alberta Canada
I always say everyones lost jewelry has a story attached to it and everyone’s story is different. This young lady lost a silver locket that was given to her by her grandmother, it was lost in the sand at Kits Beach and she didn’t realize that she lost it until she got home that evening. How do you replace something so special that was given to you by someone so special? The best thing this young lady did was post on the lost & found on the craigslist and then reply to my email. I just sent the info on my service called ”The Ring Finders” and said I could help. She told her mother and they took a look at my directory/website and made the call. After discussing the search I was on my way to the beach to meet them both and look for her locket. I knew that there was a chance that another treasure hunter could have found it before me, I contacted a friend that I know searches Kits Beach and he said he didn’t find it so I felt like we had a chance. After just 20 minutes of searching the area that the locket could have been in… I found it…Funny thing was it wasn’t in the area I was searching. She received a text message from a friend that sent her a picture of where they were sitting and she showed me a reference marker between two benches and two garbage cans. While I walked up to take a look at the text message I got a signal and kicked the sand to see her silver locket…The story of her locket continues and I was so happy that I could find it for her. This past week has been very busy and I love it! I work 12 + hours a day and when I get off work I’ll go on a night search as we all know timing is everything when a ring is lost in a public place. The call I received yesterday was a distress call form a young man who lost his gold wedding band in Alouette Lake in Maple Ridge. After talking to Ray on the phone we decided to meet at 7:00 am at the park to search for his lost ring. When we met I could tell how much his ring meant to him as we talked about how it was lost. Its great to see men these days that are so much in love with their wife’s and to see how much that ring means to them and how bad they want it found! Ray helped me on my search today and he also spent a good amount of time snorkelling to try and find it…If you have never lost a ring you probably will never know the sick feeling you get thinking you’ll never see it again… Ray was very grateful when after close to 4 hours of searching the ring showed itself…Thank you Ray for the kind reward and I hope you never lose your ring again! Just yesterday around 3 pm I received a call from a young man that lost his wedding band at a construction site in Abbotsford.I quickly called our other member from Abbotsford to see if he wanted to do it as it would be nice for him to get some practise but I never heard back from him so I made arrangements to meet Chris who lost his ring that evening.Abbotsford is a good hour drive for me so by the time I got off work and grabbed my equipment and met Chris at a gas station it was 10 pm. I followed him to the construction site where I signed in and followed him to his job site where his ring was lost. We looked over the 2 possibilities and we both felt that the ring was lost at the 2nd location. I grabbed my light to do the interview and off I went to search for the ring… It only took a minute to get a signal and a huge Smile! I feel just as excited to find the ring as the person I find it for! Chris was so very happy, he called his wife who sounded very excited and emotional that the ring was found! It’s so refreshing to see what a ring means to a man as we know how emotional the ladies get when I recover their lost rings. Chris loved his ring very much and loved the lady who gave it to him and I’m so glad I was able to continue their story! Thank you for the kind reward Chris!I love my Job!Lost Something? Well its been an amazing week and a half for recoveries! I Found a $7000 Rolex watch and a $4500 Breitling watch along with a diamond pendent and some gold wedding bands and a silver native ring. I have been able to make a few people very happy these days! This was another highlight for me as I got a call to find a beautiful $5.00 Gold Coin for a young man who lost it playing baseball. I met the young man and his girlfriend at around 11pm as I new that we had to find it ASAP. You see he told me that his late Grandfather gave it to him many years ago and he wore it everyday.I asked a few questions and felt good about finding the gold coin because the grass was a bit high and we all know how gold likes to hide… Well it could only hide for 45 minutes from me before I was able to find and give it back to the owner. I have the greatest job in the world! I get to make people smile! It was nice meeting you both tonight Roger and I’m so happy that you got your Grandfathers gift back! Thank you for the kind reward! Best, Chris TurnerI love my job! Lost something?Call me ASAP! You can watch the search below.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NENBmBUH6Hs
Well I received a call from a young man yesterday in regards to his lost gold wedding band at Jericho Beach in Vancouver. He tells me he thinks he lost his ring in the ocean while throwing a Frisbee, however we will not be able to meet as he had a dinner date with his wife that night. He told me that he would go back in the morning to search for the ring at low tide. I got off work early today and just then I get a call from the young man asking if we could meet to search for his ring…
I met Derek and his wife at the beach and we talked about the search and Derek walked me over to the log they were sitting at….
With in seconds of searching the area we found his wedding ring in the dry sand…
Derek and his wife were very happy and grateful for finding his lost ring!
I was blown away that no one found the ring as it was right next to a log and we all know to search the logs…
Also I thought I was going there to grid search the ocean…
Pays to ask questions before you start your search!
Their smiles make this search & recovery so worth while!
This evening I got from a young lady who lost her silver ring at Kits beach. She told me that she had been looking for the ring in the water for 2 hours! I knew right then that I’d be on my way to help her find it. I asked her to make good reference points to where the ring came off in the water and she did. When I arrived at Kits Beach at 9:30 PM I met Kristina and she told me the story about the ring and that it was a native carved ring that was given to her by her boyfriend 1 1/2 years ago and she went on to tell me how important it was to her and how much she’d love to get it back. We discussed the search area and she was very confident that she could put me in the exact area where she felt the ring come off her finger and fall into the water. Only one minute in the water and I found her beautiful silver native carved ring and the smile tells you the rest! I wish I had my camera on when I first found the ring to show you her reaction…I’m blessed with the ability to make people smile…I love my Job!Lost your ring?
