Lost Tungsten Ring Found in Livonia Michigan

  • from Detroit (Michigan, United States)

Blades of Glory…

As Larry was mowing the grass for the last time this year he was emptying the bag into some compost piles. Hours later he noticed his ring missing. Back at work the next day his wife Cindy texted me the information on the disappearance. Setting up my MXT metal detector I told her this detector will bring lawn and order back to the yard. Scanning the detector coil thru the compost piles I got a nice solid signal. Reaching thru the pile with my pin-pointer I got a location and pulled out Larry’s ring! Handing it to Cindy I held my detector coil up to the brim of my hat to say goodbye and she said thanks for the cutting-edge service…. I said, my pleasure, it’s been a lawn time coming.

Cartier Love Ring Lost in Chester River…Found by Detectorist Brian Rudolph in Chestertown, Maryland

  • from Washington (District of Columbia, United States)

Millie’s 14 karat yellow gold Cartier Love Ring which ring finder Brian Rudolph was able to recover from the bottom of the Chester River in Chestertown, Maryland.

Millie and Dustin celebrate the returned of an irreplaceable wedding band that meant the world to this couple. They were beyond grateful to have item recovery specialist Brian Rudolph conduct the water search and recovery project for them.

Brian Rudolph, Lost Item Recovery Specialist (also known as THE RING HERO) searches  Land, Water, Sand, Snow, Leaves, Cliffs, Houses and Vehicles. He Will Find Your Lost Item! Call ASAP (301) 466-8644!

Millie and her husband Dustin, along with some of their family were enjoying their time together out on the Chester River. They had a blast boating, swimming and partaking of a delicious picnic. At some point during their fun getaway, Millie looked down at her hand and she realized that her beautiful 14 karat yellow gold Cartier Love Ring was no longer on her finger.

For the next couple of hours, the family diligently searched in the water to see if maybe they could feel the ring with their toes in an attempt to recover the precious wedding band. Unfortunately, Millie, Dustin, her sister, brother-in-law and father were all unable to locate and retrieve the ring from the bottom of the river.

At some point later on in the day, Millie and Dustin decided to look on the internet see if there were any metal detectorists who had the capability of doing a metal detecting search in a depth of about 4 feet of water. As they browsed online, the couple found information on John Favano, a highly successful metal detectorist located throughout the New Jersey area. John was too far from their area so he referred the couple to me and that’s when I entered into the story.

After going through all of the details regarding the loss of Millie’s beloved wedding band, I agreed to help the couple and we planned for me to drive approximately 4 hours to Chestertown, Maryland. I had been metal detecting down in Southern Virginia, so the trip to meet up with the couple was going to be a pretty significant journey.

The next day, I arrived at the family estate where we all boarded their pontoon boat and headed off to a lovely deserted cove where the ring was believed to have slipped off of Millie’s finger. I made sure that I loaded up all of the necessary detecting equipment to give me the best chance of success.

When we arrived at the search site, we anchored along the shore and I immediately got to work. As soon as I got answers to all of my questions regarding the spots where Millie may have been swimming when the ring fell off, I began setting up all of my professional waterproof gear and eventually entered the water to start the search.

At first, I picked up a few random signals which did not convince me that the Cartier love ring was being detected. However, I wanted to make sure that I checked out every possible target just to be on the safe side. A few minutes later, I decided to switch up my detectors due to the mineralization challenges that I began to face in that particular body of water. I reentered the water and within a few minutes I hit a perfect target signal that fell into the range of Millie’s type of gold jewelry.

Millie, Dustin, her sister and brother-in-law along with their father waited with much anticipation to see if what I had detected in the water was in fact the missing irreplaceable keepsake. I put my scuba BCD on, loaded up the weight pockets, placed my dive mask on and duck dove into the water to retrieve the mysterious object below.

I am excited to share that when my fingers touched the item in the midst of all of the sand and silt, I could immediately tell that what I was going to bring up to the surface was indeed the ring! And that’s exactly what it was! I recovered Millie’s classy yellow gold Cartier Love Ring!

Everyone was so thrilled at my announcement that Millie’s precious jewel was coming back to her left ring finger! We all celebrated and gave each other hugs out of such pure elation and gratitude!

There’s nothing more exciting than to help people recover special items like the one that I was able to retrieve from the depths of the Chester River for my clients! I thought that the trip to the cove where the search took place was beyond breathtaking. Well, our victory cruise back to shore happened to be even more thrilling!

Property Surveys Cost Thousands…Save by Hiring a Metal Detectorist

  • from Washington (District of Columbia, United States)

One of four property markers that Brian Rudolph of METAL DETECTING ADVENTURES INC was able to successfully identify for his clients Kylie and Matt

Brian Rudolph of METAL DETECTING ADVENTURES INC poses for a photo with one of four property stakes which Rudolph successfully identified for his clients in Fairfax, Virginia

Kylie and Matt could not believe how expensive a property survey would cost them if they hired a professional surveyor to locate their four property stakes.

The couple wanted to widen their driveway and it was imperative that they identified where their property borders were located. Instead of paying up to $2,600 for a surveyor to come out to their home, they tried to find the property pins on their own.

They first tried finding the pins with a metal detector, but all of their attempts to identify the corners of their property led to no avail. Then, they searched online for a professional metal detectorist and that’s when I came into the story.

After talking with Matt on the phone, my client was confident that I was the right person for the job in helping the couple find their lost property markers. I came over about a week later and I successfully located all four pins for Kylie and Matt!

It is not easy to uncover lost property markers because there is so much metal in the ground to deal with. That’s why it takes a skilled detectorist to be able to identify the iron stakes buried beneath the earth.

If you need immediate assistance in helping to identify where your lost property markers are buried, please call METAL DETECTING ADVENTURES INC at 301-466-8644.

I will be happy to help you in any way I can to save you money and help you determine where you can put up your new fence or widen your driveway!

Family Crest Ring Lost by Child Over Two Years Earlier…Found by Brian Rudolph in Potomac, Maryland

  • from Washington (District of Columbia, United States)

Elliott’s yellow gold family crest ring that was amazingly recovered by ring finder Brian Rudolph after being buried in the ground for 2.5 years!

Elliott proudly holds up his gold family crest ring which his father had given him years earlier! Back where it belonged!

Elliott was given a family crest ring made of solid gold. It was a gift from his father. During one winter afternoon, while Elliott’s three year old child was helping his father gather up fallen sticks in their front yard, Elliott gave his special gold ring to his son and unfortunately it got lost. No one knew whether or not the ring ended up in the recycling bags out by the curb, in the house trash, or possibly out on the front lawn or maybe one of the side yards. Yet, it was the opinion of the young child that the irreplaceable keepsake was lost somewhere in the front yard. He thought it had slipped off of his finger and landed in the hard winter grass while he and his dad had been tending to the lawn cleanup.

Elliott searched the property with a metal detector and sadly he was not able to recover his family crest ring. Over the next two and a half years, the sad gentleman would try again and again to attempt a successful search and recovery of the gold jewel but unfortunately nothing turned up except digging up lots of metal junk beneath the earth.

At some point, Elliott looked online and decided to search for a professional metal detectorist who might be willing to come to his Potomac, Maryland property to try to find the missing family heirloom. Thankfully, my client found my services on a metal detecting directory called THE RING FINDERS. This is an elite international directory of metal detectorists who are specialists in recovering lost jewelry like the ring that Elliott’s son had lost.

Even though nobody knew whether or not the ring had been lost in the trash or in the recycling bags, I was still willing to give it a shot and search the family’s entire front and side lawns. As soon as I arrived, Elliott and his son showed me all of the places that they worked and walked during the time of the disappearance of the gold family crest ring. I then went to the car, grabbed all of my metal detecting gear out of the vehicle and eventually began the tedious search for the missing ring.

This search was not an easy one because the ring was now buried beneath the ground since it had been lost two and a half years earlier. This meant that I needed to dig up every target signal that could potentially end up being the ring that we were looking for. Over the next two and a half hours I dug up a lot of junk metal. I found old Coke, Pepsi and miscellaneous beer bottle caps. I uncovered random pieces of twisted metal and electrical wiring throughout the property, as well.

I could tell that my client was developing doubt within him as the clock kept ticking later and later. Yet, I kept a positive attitude and I was not moved by the fact that the only things that I had found up to that point was junk metal in the first couple of hours.

Every so many feet of scanning I had to stop, kneel down to the ground and begin digging up the curious metal target that registered on my detector’s computer screen. Each time I would end up finding just more “throw-away” pieces of garbage.

I am delighted to share that as I began scanning a positive target signal that fell in the range of a solid gold ring, I shared with Elliott that this could be the target that we were looking for. Though I had said the same line many a times before, I still conveyed my positivity that this could be the one! And as it turned out…it was the one!

I used my hand digger to break up the earth just as my pinpointer had finished isolating the very spot where the metal target was hiding. And there it was, a couple of inches beneath the dirt and grass! It was Elliott’s beloved yellow gold family crest ring! I found it! It was hidden about two and a half feet to the right of the driveway, approximately 12 feet from the front curb. I was so excited! I immediately grabbed the ring, raised it high in the air and quickly marched the treasure over to my client who was sadly sitting on the front porch step! He stood up and in complete unbelief Elliott made his way over to me to inspect the item. He couldn’t believe it! But it was true! I found it! I really did recover the unrecoverable!

The two of us hugged and gave each other a couple of high fives before Elliott went into the house to announce the great news! Within seconds, the whole family came outside and we all rejoiced and celebrated the return of the family heirloom ring! We then all bowed our heads and thanked the Lord for answering our earlier prayer! What a moment of joy it was! I could tell that the little boy was so relieved that the ring that he had once lost on the lawn was no longer a mystery to be solved…rather, a story to be shared for generations to come!

Lost Ring Recovered in Louisburg KS

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

Kara attended an outdoor wedding and after the ceremony realized her unique silver ring was missing.  Lots of folks looked for it under a massive party tent but came up with nothing.  They searched again to no avail as the tent and setup were dismantled the next day.

Wisely, she got on the internet, found TheRingFinders and subsequently contacted me.  We carefully set boundaries for a grid search and voila!  15 minutes and we swung right over the ring, very near where she was sitting.  This is one she couldn’t replace so it had a huge sentimental value for her.

It is so satisfying to be a part of the story.

Lost Wedding Ring – FOUND! near State College, PA by Metal Detector Specialist Brian Carpenter – Call 814-244-2300 ASAP for help with your lost item!

  • from Indiana (Pennsylvania, United States)

Lost your ring, other valuable jewelry, cellphone, keys, or other metal object…call or text Brian Carpenter at (814)244-2300 as soon as possible. I am a ring recovery/metal detecting specialist serving Pittsburgh, Indiana (PA), and most of Western PA. Why rent a metal detector when you can get a trained operator with top of the line equipment at the same time…

I was contacted by Matt to see if I could help him locate his lost tungsten and gold wedding band. Matt said he had lost it in his yard cleaning up leaves. This is a common occurrence this time of year. I told Matt I would come out and we agreed on a day and time. Later I would find out that Matt lived three and a half hours away from the property to be search. It added a little bit of pressure as this was a significant time investment on his part.

I met Matt at the property and got the scoop on what happened. Matt was full of good news, the ring was mostly black, it could have been in a variety of places from in the yard to the wooded areas behind his house, he had cut the grass at some point and there was a large area in the woods where he had actually spread the leaves out by hand rather than dump them and leave them in big piles. He was really upset by the loss as he had only been married a short time before this happened. Matt also informed me he had bought a metal detector and invested significant time in trying to locate the ring using the detector. Unlike many people I have to give Matt credit, he invested in an Garrett AT Pro, the same detector I usually use. He had also spent some time doing research and had some knowledge in how to use it.

I looked around and taking all of the information into account was beginning to believe I was in for a VERY LONG day. I asked Matt where he thought it might be and he put me onto a few places he had dumped stuff in the woods behind the house. I started to look getting some directions from Matt – you are up too far, over this way some, yeah that is where I was. Then Matt went down the hill to look on his own. After about 10-15 minutes I was working my way down the path to search another patch of woods and I got a sweet sound. I did not see anything though. I got out my pin pointer and rooted around the side of a tree branch that was across the path. BAM! I moved some of the leave pieces and dust out of the way and there was the ring tight up against the branch. I felt a huge sense of relief. Matt had cleared a portion of this area from the leaves but the dust and pieces that he left behind were just enough to keep it hidden from sight.

I called Matt up from where he was searching. Without telling him that I found his ring I placed it on the ground and told him when you find your ring this is what it will sounds like. Matt started to run his detector over the spot…then it hit him…it was HIS ring. He picked it up and was overjoyed and in disbelief that I found it both where I did and so quickly. I was amazed as well, a little devine intervention if you ask me, St. Anthony strikes again.

It was a pleasure to meet another kind and generous client and recover his lost ring.

Lost Ring from Boat in Dana Point Harbor .. Found and Returned to Owne

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

If you’ve lost a ring or important metallic item, calor text ..l Stan  TheMetal Detector Man .. 949-500-2136

** I Recieved a call about a gold wedding band dropped over the side of a boat. The boat was tied up in its slip. John told me  he felt the ring come off his finger and saw it splash between the stern and the dock.  It was definitely there in a 4 ft x 4 ft.area 8 to 12 ft deep depending on the tide level..  The problem was the area is loaded with 40 years of metal trash.

I was unable to do the dive because I had just had a medical procedure. My back up diver, Rudy was available to do the dive. I supplied him with sifting equipment and othe search tools. It was a teadius sifting process, but persistence yielded the very sentimental wedding ring..

Family Heirloom Diamond Ring Lost During Football Fun…Recovered by Ring Hero in Brookville, Maryland

  • from Washington (District of Columbia, United States)

Leila’s beautiful family heirloom yellow gold diamond infinity band gifted to her by her mother before she passed away.

Leila and family pose for a photo while celebrating the return of a very special diamond ring recovered by ring finder Brian Rudolph.

Leila was playing football with her son outside in the grass on the side of their Brookville, Maryland home. Just at the moment when the fun and cool mother hiked the ball between her legs, she could feel her very special family heirloom ring go flying off her finger. Leila looked down and saw that the yellow gold infinity style diamond ring that was given to her before her mother passed away a few years ago was clearly gone and hiding somewhere in the grass.

The distraught woman immediately stopped the football fun and began searching for her lost ring. Eventually the rest of the family joined in as well but unfortunately all of their efforts led to no avail.

After a couple of hours of unproductive metal detecting with a neighbor’s low budget machine, Leila switched gears and started to search the internet for a better solution. Happily, the young woman found a metal detectorist directory called THE RING FINDERS, an international directory of experienced ring finders! That’s where Leila had found me.

Within a short period of time, my client and I began talking on the phone and I asked her all of the details about the disappearance of the special ring. We set up a time for me to come out and I told her I would do everything I possibly could to reunite Leila with her precious mother’s diamond ring.

The next day, I drove out to my client’s Brookville, Maryland property to conduct the ring search. It was rainy and miserable outside but that did not deter me from focusing on my mission to find the lost jewelry. Once I got all of the details regarding how the ring went missing, I gathered up my professional metal detecting gear and began the search.

During the “ring investigation”, I had two young assistants (Leila’s kids) who helped to lay down grid lines and re-wind the tapes up so I could put them back down in new places on the lawn. Within 90 minutes, after being completely soaked by the unforgiving downpours, I found Leila’s ring! It was metal detected approximately 30 feet to the right of where my client had originally been playing the day that the family heirloom jewel went flying off of her finger!

I could not have been more happy for Leila and her husband Shane! This yellow gold infinity style diamond ring meant the world to my client. Every time she looked at it, it drew her closer to the memory of her late mother. Now that it was back on her finger, she could sleep better and move passed those nightmarish thoughts that kept causing her to think that she would never see her ring ever again. I’m thrilled that I was able to help wipe away those temporal worries from Leila and once again reunite my client with her irreplaceable keepsake.
