UPDATE:
The ring I recovered on 8/5/26 and mailed to its owner in Chester, VA has made it safely back, been resized and shouldn’t come off again!
Back story: family was on vacation from VA, visiting White Lake, NC. While spending time with family in the water she felt both rings slide off into the water. Her husband was able to recover the engagement ring, but lost the wedding ring in the sand.
Week later, after being contacted by her sister, I made the drive down and go to the spot! About an hour and a half later I had the ring in my scoop!
I texted her saying it has been safely recovered and asked for her address so I could get it back to her asap!
She was super excited and couldn’t believe I had found it, much less willing to mail it back to her!
This is what I love to do and what I enjoy the most after turning someone’s tears to joy, sadness to happiness again and the feeling of devastation to hope and then gratefulness to have any item back!
Numbers are the same as my last recover because I had already counted it into my numbers on 8/5/26!
