LOST WHITE GOLD WEDDING RING IN RALEIGH, NC….. FOUND!!!

  • from Fayetteville (North Carolina, United States)

While in SC attempting another recovery, sadly didnt find that one, I received a text about a lost ring in Raleigh, NC, at a parks volleyball sandy pit area.

The couple were visiting from out of state and leaving soon. I advised them of the current laws and that I’d have to call the local police to see if I could get permission to try and find it. I called Raleigh, PD and they deferred me to the park staff/security. I called and spoke with the director of the park where the ring was lost. He advised me he would have to call his supervisor and said he’d call me back. About 30 mins later I get a call and the green light!!! They said someone would need to be present while I searched for the ring, I said, “sounds good to me!” So from SC it was about a 3 hour drive!

I arrived at the park, then couple arrived and I called the Director to advise him we were there and I was about to get started. I covered the first area and didn’t find it. The park director showed up and sat at the picnic table where the 2nd possible location was. 1 pulltab and 1 twist top later I get another signal and it’s her ring!

LOST FAMILY HEIRLOOM PLATNIUM DIAMOND RING in CHARLOTTE, NC…….FOUND!!

  • from Fayetteville (North Carolina, United States)

I received a text message from a young lady needing my help to search for her lost family heirloom platinum diamond ring that was passed down by her great-grandmother.

Story goes, she pulled into work, took the ring off and put it in her pocket. She went into the building and then back out of the building. She turned to the right and ran to the back shed on the backside of the building to place a box in there. Then she ran back inside. The running must have caused the ring to work itself up and out of her pocket.

When she came back inside she realized she had lost her ring. Her and her co-workers searched and searched for her ring to no avail! She was so devastated!!

We make arrangements for me to come search for it. I get to the site and start my search. There were lots of signals in the gold/platnium range. Based on that it took me hours to recover it. But finally, not too far from the front door, in the high grass I get a signal, grabbed my pin-pointer, I move the grass back and I finally see the ring!!!

I texted her pictures of the ring and she sent a co-worker/friend to come pick it up!

LOST SILVER WEDDING RING in FAYETTEVILLE, NC….. FOUND!!!!

  • from Fayetteville (North Carolina, United States)

So on my way back home from my Goldsboro, NC recovery, I get a call from a guy in Fayetteville, NC that lost his silver wedding ring in his backyard while cleaning up trees and debris 2 weeks ago.

I make the deture and head his way. Get to his house, we head to the back and I start my search! The ring is not foubd where he thought he lost it and where he had already found his copper ring.

I advise we backtrack his steps. We start from the point of where he had taken them off and placed into his pocket along with his keys. 15-20 feet from there in the middle of the back grassy area just off his back porch, I get strong hit and look down to shiny silver roundness!

Man I really enjoy this hobby and helping people get their priceless treasures back!!

Another successful recovery story!

I drove over 2 hours again to offer an attempt to locate them. 30 mins into the search I get a hit and it was the engagement ring. Less than 2 feet the weddingg band ribgs up and BOOM just like that both sterling silver rings were found and returned!

LOST GOLD HEIRLOOM DIAMOND RING IN YORK, SC………FOUND!!!

  • from Fayetteville (North Carolina, United States)

Received a text yesterday from a young lady stating she had lost her grandmothers ring in her yard about a year ago while doing yard work, taking her gloves off to play with her dogs.

She also stated they were about to move and wanted me to come see if I could find it before they moved. I tell her I’ll be there at 8:00 am!

I get there at 8:00 am, we talked for a few mins to get the story and locations to search pointed out. She felt it was in the backyard, but mentioned a small area in the front where it might be.

I got my gear and searched the front first. Done in about 5 mins, it wasn’t there. We then move to the backyard. While she was putting her dogs away, I started walking towards the area she mentioned. As she’s walking back, past me and my very first signal, I get a signal not too deep. Using my digging tool, I see shiny heart with a diamond pop out of the dirt!

It was found! This is what I enjoy the most about being on this website! I don’t care how far I have to drive to help someone find their priceless lost items!

LOST 14k WHITE GOLD RING IN KANAPOLIS, NC…..FOUND!!

  • from Fayetteville (North Carolina, United States)

Got a text from a gentleman on Friday last week, saying he had lost his wedding ring in the yard. Snow was coming in and we had to push it out until I was off work.

Drove out this morning and got the backstory. He had gone to clean out the chicken coop. He had had gloves on and as he was walking back to the building he took them off. At that point is when the ring fell off. They searched and searched and couldn’t find it.

The area that we both felt it had to have been lost in was full of 14k gold ring signals, ground was frozen and it had some ice/snow still in this area.

After about 2 hours, I finally got a good pull tab signal and look down and I could see the ring in the ice!!!

LOST 14k WHITE GOLD ENGAGEMENT RING IN HICKORY, NC…… FOUND!!!!

  • from Fayetteville (North Carolina, United States)

Received a text last night from a young man whose mom had lost her wedding rings while picking up leaves and tossing them over the fence. The son had found the wedding band by sifting through the leaves, but was unable to locate the engagement ring.

They had been on her finger for nearly 51 years!

I showed up at 8:00 am and the search began. After an hour we hadn’t found it yet, so we went inside to talk to his mom and get a better idea of where she was and what she had been doing prior to losing it. Turns out we were in the only area where she was tossing leaves. I suggested we go back and try again. After about another 30 mins, I decided to kick over the sifted leaves to move them more out of the way, away from the fence and I got a hit! The ring was under 2-3 feet of sifted leaves and I missed it the first 8 times because I didn’t move the leaves. It was found 3 feet from the wedding band near the fence line!

Needless to say it was a very Merry Christmas for the whole family as they both were back where they belong!

LOST 18k GOLD WEDDING RING IN MACON, NC…. FOUND!!!

  • from Fayetteville (North Carolina, United States)

About 3 weeks ago, I received a call from a gentleman that had lost his wedding ring about five years ago while winterizing his boat on Lake Gaston. While he was putting a tarp over the top of his boat his ring slid off, due to the colder weather. It dropped in about 5-6 feet of water at the time.

We agreed on a date and time for me to drive the 2 hour 40 min (one way) trip to see if I could recover it. It took me 25-30 mins to gear up, get the back story before I got in the water.

After about 5-8 mins… 1st target (piece of aluminum) 2nd target a thick and heavy 18k gold ring! “SUCCESS!”

After meeting his wife she admitted she teared up when their daughter told her, ”He found daddy’s ring!” She also admitted, “I didn’t think it could be found and thought it was a waste of time!” Glad I was able to change that mind set and make them all happy!! They shared an awesome/funny story about the inscription on the ring. It says “I LOVE TATOR TOTS, BUT I LOVE YOU MORE” they met while ordering tots! It’s always nice to learn things about the folks you help, especially something that can’t be replaced!

While there, I was told the owner of the house had lost his white gold wedding ring near the water while removing water grass and tossing it up to the bank. After about 40-50 mins I found that ring too!

4 LOST RINGS IN LEXINGTON, NC……FOUND!

  • from Fayetteville (North Carolina, United States)

This young wife/mom was just devastated that she had left her rings on the zero turn mower and forgot to go back and get them.

Hubby went out to mow and well you can guess where they ended up! Yup, you guessed it, in the yard!

I drove 3.5 hrs, hunted for 6 hours for these priceless items! After spending about 4 hours in areas we thought they might have fallen off I decided to take two steps back and review the still frames again. I must have missed a key element or factor! I tried my best to follow his path from where he started to where he came up on the driveway to go mow the small side of the yard. They just had to have fallen off before that. Most ring recoveries is a lot of detective work and trying to figure out where is the mostly likely spot they could be!

After regrouping and deciding to go back to the beginning, I finally get a hit and I see one of the silver rings! Stand up get another hit and there is the engagement ring!

Two down and two to go! About 30 mins later I hit the 2nd silver ring! 3 out of 4 ain’t bad, but I don’t quit or give up easily! About another 30 mins go by and I finally find the last ring which turned out to be the wedding band and the 1st ring that had been lost!

I love this hobby and and love nothing more than to put a smile back on and individuals face when you walk up with what they thought was lost forever!
