  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

I was contacted by John and asked if I could find some missing sprinkler solenoids in the ground. I wasnt sure exactly what he was looking for but I told him I would try. At some point previously homeowner had sod put down and most of the access covers were covered. There was one solenoid cover exposed that I was able to pick up a metalic signal with my detector. When I detected a similar reading I put a screwdriver into the dirt to confirm the plastic cover. I found all five missing solenoid in about 1 hour.

Lost ring in Sevierville, TN

  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

Jimmy and his wife Lindsay were visiting from out of state and rented a cabin in Sevierville for their weekend getaway. Lindsay had set her ring down by the hot tub when their little 3 year old grabbed the ring and darted toward the field with grass 3 feet tall. Jimmy went straight out and bought a metal detector and spent hours looking but didn’t have any luck. Unfortunately they had to leave and headed home, at the same time I was on my vacation in VA. When I got the call I had Jimmy take as many photos as possible so i could reference it later on. I made a quick pit stop on my way home from our 8 hour drive but didnt have any luck. I came back the next day and exanded my search area and found it. I contacted Jimmy for a mailing address and sent it overnight, he and his wife were ecstatic. Its such a great feeling to help someone in their time of need.

Found Ring at Ocean View Beach VA

  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

I was metal detecting at Ocean View Beach while on vacation. I was approached by a couple of local ladies who informed me one of them lost a ring about two weeks ago, I told them I would give it a shot. They said it could be anywhere in this general area, not a small area by any means. After no luck from the dry sand I moved to the water because low tide was going to start coming back up, with a little luck and lots of determination I found it in about 3 feet of water and was able to return it to Brittany.

Lost ring in Anderson County Park

  • from Knoxville (Tennessee, United States)

I was contacted by Josh and Stephanie. They were visiting friends from out of town and went swimming at a local swimming hole at Anderson County Park. At some point Stephanie noticed her engagement ring was missing. I spent several hours snorkeling, looking for her ring with no luck. Josh and Stephanie had left town to go back home heart broken. I refused to give up, I came back two days later with scuba gear and found it in 15ft of water in the deepest part of the swim area. I cleaned the clay off her ring and mailed it to their home in Alabama.

That needle in the hay stack!

I was called out today to look for a gold ring that Mr. Harris lost. This ring used to be his Grandfather’s. His ring was lost while feeding his horses about 5 months ago in December and found in May. I only had to search for about 5 minutes and found it in the dirt just by the fence. I am truly glad I could find his family heirloom and bring closure.
