August 7th Janice was watering plants on her deck when the chain that had her parents wedding rings and her brothers St. Christopher, came undone. She grabbed for it and caught two of the five items. Janice went under the deck and was able to recover all but her Mother’s engagement ring. This ring is very special as her mother passed April of last year.

Janice reached out and even tried to rent a metal detector. her sister talked to a friend of mine and we connected.

After a 25 minute search, bingo I found it, one very HAPPY LADY.

Sam emailed me Thursday evening June 20th and explained that he had lost his wedding ring in the waters of Witty’s Lagoon. I arranged to search the next day. Friday morning Sam and I connected,  I met up with his wife Heather and his daughter. After a short trip down a trail we arrived at the spot. Jan posted in usedvictoria.com that she lost her wedding ring, I replied that I maybe able to help locate it for her. We arranged to meet at Gyro Beach where she was playing with her dog and lost her ring in the sand. It was 7 P.M. Monday evening and Jan walked me down the beach to the spot that she was standing while throwing a stick for her dog and felt her ring come off.
I got set-up and started searching and within 7 minutes Jan had her ring back where it belongs, on her finger. OMG she was so happy and surprised, I am going to tell all my friends and co-workers she told me . She told me that she had bought a metal detector hoping to recover her ring only to discover the learning curve was more than she expected.
I love my job, another great recovery.
