Yesterday, I received a call from Tegan requesting my assistance in locating her lost engagement ring. She had lost the ring while brushing snow off her vehicle around 6:30 am. Although she felt the ring detach from her finger, she was unable to determine its direction of travel.

After conducting a preliminary assessment, I was confident that I would be successful in finding the ring. I agreed to travel to Leduc, where Tegan informed me that her fiancée was actively searching for the ring in the parking lot.

Upon my arrival, I encountered Chase, who was present in the parking lot. He had utilized snow melt to clear four parking stalls but had not yet located the ring. He had been searching for the past seven hours.

After thoroughly analyzing the area and employing my test ring, I concluded that the ring was not in the immediate vicinity. It was likely still on her vehicle or had fallen off during her departure from the parking lot.

I conducted a comprehensive search of the parking lot, extending from the exit of the parking lot to four parking stalls before Tegan’s stall. By this time Chase was convinced that the ring was gone for ever,

During the search I detected a distinct metallic tone from my metal detector, confirming the presence of the ring I pointed to the ground and told Chase this is Tegan’s ring . Chase was astounded by my discovery and expressed his disbelief that the ring had been found.
Thank you Tegan and Chase for entrusting me to find your losts engagement ring.

I received a call from Damon requesting my assistance in locating his Great Great Grandmother’s Black Onyx ring, which was lost on his wedding day last saturday October 4, 2025.
Damon informed me that his mother who had inherited it from her late Great Grandmother. His mother subsequently passed it on to Damon’s wife.
He mentioned that they had taken photographs at an old homestead, where he believes the ring fell off his wife’s finger.
I agreed to conduct a search for the ring, recognizing its sentimental value to both Damon and his wife. I met Damon at his home in Lamont County, approximately 60 miles east of my location.
We drove to the location where they had taken their wedding photographs. Damon indicated three potential areas where the ring could be found. After carefully listening to his description, I suggested that we begin the search from the end of the road. Damon and his wife were certain that the ring had fallen off at the beginning of the photo shoot. We proceeded to the end of the road and retraced our steps towards the old homestead, halfway up the path. Suddenly, I heard a pleasant tone, and there was his ring, beautifully concealed by leaves. I informed Damon of its location, and he was overjoyed.

Received a call from Kevin requesting my service to locate his 18k yellow gold wedding ring which he lost a couple of days prior while doing fall gardening with his wife in the backyard,

Kevin was working at the bottom of his yard when he found out his ring was not on his finger he search the area with his wife with no luck at all and thats when he needed some professional help to find his ring he Google searched and found The Ringfinders web site and called me,

Kevin explained to me he exchange gloves with his wife and that’s possible when his ring fell off his finger, also he mentioned that he had the lawn cut the next day and was concerned that his ring may have been picked up by the mower? I assured Kevin that it was highly unlikely the mower would pick it up,

Also Kevin had 8 bags of grass clippings and twigs and possible the ring could be in one of the bags, I agreed to meet up with Kevin on Wednesday evening.

I met up with Kevin at his home and he showed me where he was cutting and cleaning up his yard. His backyard had very steep slope to a ravine also the grass was already yellow which made the ring blend in with the terrain which it made impossible to find with a naked eye.

I search all the bags a couple of times to make sure the ring was not in them no ring was found then I proceeded to search at the bottom of the garden I was getting positive ringtones but it was not the tone I was listening for, then I heard a faint tone and Iron tone which made me stop and investigate this strange sound and yes there was Kevin’s ring being masked by an Iron object and covered with dead grass if I had not been thorough in my search that ring could have being missed forever,

Thank you Kevin for entrusting me to find your wedding ring

Last evening, Mike contacted me to inform me that he had just lost his gold platinum wedding band of 17 years. While disposing of garbage, he slipped on ice and, upon regaining his footing, inadvertently dislodged the ring from his finger, which subsequently fell into the snow. Despite an extensive one-hour search, he was unable to locate the ring.

I have agreed to meet with Mike this morning.

Upon meeting Mike at his residence, he demonstrated the area where he believed the ring might have landed. However, it is important to note that such assumptions may not always be accurate. I conducted a preliminary search of the area without success and subsequently explored the opposite side of his driveway. To our delight, I discovered the ring approximately 12 feet from the location where Mike had anticipated its presence. Another happy client thank you Mike.

The retrieval of his hearing aid was of paramount importance, as he had recently experienced a significant loss of hearing. Furthermore, the replacement cost was substantial. I informed Dale that I required his other hearing aid in order to calibrate my detector to his hearing aid. Within fifteen minutes, I successfully located his hearing aid in the neighbor’s yard.

I received a phone call and text late last night, but I was unfortunately unavailable. I responded with a text message first thing this morning.

Marcus requested my service to recover his lost promise ring, I understand he was brushing snow off his vehicle seat when the ring flew off his finger. He heard it ping inside the vehicle but couldn’t locate it, and then spent an hour searching the parking lot without success.

We arranged a meeting this morning, but a different vehicle was parked where his vehicle had been. After Marcus explained the situation again, I searched inside his vehicle  and immediate area without finding the ring. Marcus then showed me a photo of where his vehicle had been parked, and I determined the ring must be underneath the vehicle that was parked on the spot where his vehicle was last night.

We discussed the possibility of the vehicle owner being a visitor or employee in the complex. I suggested we either contact each office in the complex to find the owner or wait for them to appear, which could take all day.

Fortunately, we were able to locate the owner quickly, and she kindly moved her vehicle. My first sweep with my metal detector located his ring, Marcus was ectatic to have his ring back on his finger.

Thank you for entrusting me to find your ring. It was my pleasure to assist you.

I recived a call from Sandra on December 27 requesting my service to locate her newly purchased wedding band which had been lost on the 23 of December while walking to a store. She took a short cut down a sharp enbankment, fell half way down the hill, and felt the ring slip off her finger and into the snow.

Sandra called her husband Kevin to come and help her find the ring.  They both searched  for a couple of hours and having no luck they went back the next day.   Sandra than purchased a metal detector that just fustrated her even more because she did not understand how it worked. Sandra and Kevin went back a couple more times to search and again no luck.

Sandra called her daughter in Calgary and told her what happend.  She suggested to call the Ringfinders as there was someone in Edmonton that could possible help.  That is how Sandra got in touch with me.

After spending over three hours and not finding the ring I told Sandra she must have lost the ring somewhere else. Sandra felt that the ring had to be on the hill.  As a precaution I suggested that she should make a police report in the chance that someone would pick it up and turn it in to the RCMP.

While driving back from Sherwood Park this morning I started to think of the last few searches I had done.  I realized that prior to leaving my house this morning I had changed one of the coils on my detectors to search for a set of keys.   I decided to return and search for the Barrel Ring on the hill.  With in 2 minutes I found Sandra’s Ring only 18 inches from where she had  slipped!

Right away I called Sandra and told her the good news.   I had found her ring and I would immediately drop if off.

Thank you Sandra and Kevin for entrusting me to find your Ring.
