Jacqueline contacted me after losing her diamond ring at the beach. I asked if she was still near the spot of the loss, and she told me she stayed there. I told her I would leave right away to go and conduct a search for her, knowing that the sooner the search after a loss, the better the chance of a successful recovery.

Joseph called me for help in finding his lost ring. He had been playing volley ball with friends, when he hit the ball, and his ring flew off. After an unfruitful search in the sand at the court, he called. I was available, and knowing that he was still at the spot encouraged me to go immediately to try and have a successful recovery.

When I got to the beach Joseph saw me walking in his direction, and waved me over. We talked a bit about what had happened, where he was standing when he hit the ball, and where he believed the ring went into the sand. I got my equipment ready, and let him know that it could possibly be in another part of the court, but my search would find it. I began in the direction he showed me, and within 30 seconds I was able to give him back his ring. He was very happy, and I was happy for him. A great day!

I received a call from Eitan about his lost ring. He was at the beach with his children when while they were playing in the sand, he threw some sand, and his ring went with it. I left right away to insure that he stayed in the spot, and that I could have the best opportunity for a successful recovery.

When I arrived at the beach, it did not take long to find Eitan, and I could see that he had been hard at work with a sifter going through the sand. He showed me the area he believed the ring to be lost, and I got set up to search. Before I got started, a gentleman who had been passing by wanted to know what we were doing, so Eitan and I let him know about the ring. He got excited about the search, and stood around talking to Eitan while I searched. I searched in the area that was given as a possible area of loss, but it wasn’t to be. I then began working my way back to where Eitan had his bags, and had already sifted the sand. I got the signal I was hoping for, dug, and had the ring. I held it up, and before Eitan could come and retrieve it, the gentleman that was talking to him ran over and hugged me. That recovery made everyone happy. This is a wonderful service for sure.

Shelly contacted me after desperately searching for the rings she lost at the beach while out with her family. They were still at the spot, so I let them know I would leave immediately to come and help them.

When I got there Shelly met me, and explained what had happened. She showed me where she had been when the rings were lost, so I had a good reference as to where to begin. I got my detector ready, and we moved anything metal away from the search area like beach chairs, and aluminum cans. Wedding Ring found with metal detector in Huntington Beach

When Alyssa lost her wedding ring at the beach she asked a lifeguard for help and he gave her my contact info. I arrived a short time later and Alyssa told me she got up out of her chair and the ring fell into the sand.

This was a quick recovery since she knew the area of the loss. Alyssa and her family were visiting from Colorado and now she has her ring to take home with her.

Nicholas called wondering if I could come out and locate his wife’s lost engagement ring. She had lost it in some very tall grass on a small hillside, and he was unable to find it. I told him I would come and do a search for him, gathered my equipment, and was on my way.

When I got there Nicholas was waiting for me. He was able to explain how the ring was lost, and was able to narrow down the area where it might have gone. The grass was fresh, and pliable so I was able to sweep the coil to lean the grass over, and get as close to the ground as possible. I received a call from Jane on a rainy Sunday night about a lost ring. She and a friend had been at the beach, and decided to go in the water, but wisely removed her ring before going in and placed it with her belongings. When she came out of the water she picked up her things forgetting about the ring, and by that time the ring had vanished in the soft sand. I let her know I would come right away, so she said that she would wait.

When I found them they were waiting near the slope down to the water with a light rain coming down, and I could see next to them a large square area of disturbed sand where they had been searching for the ring. I asked Jane exactly what happened, and exactly where the loss probably occurred, and got a bit of disagreement between her and her friend about the where. Although the area was large, I decided to begin in the middle, and work out one side, and then the other. I began my grid, and about halfway into the first pass got a very strong signal and scooped the sand. I checked the hole, and knew that whatever it was, it was now in the scoop. As I shook the scoop to rid it of the sand I felt something heavy. When looking in after the sand was gone, I saw a very large gold ring just as Jane described. I held it up for her, and she and her friend were astonished that it was right in the middle of where they had searched, but were unable to find it. She was very happy to have it back, and I was thankful to be of help.

Olga contacted me explaining that she had lost her wedding ring in ice plant outside her beach front home. It seemed like a search that should be done right away, so we made arrangements to do the search that day.

When I arrived Olga took me to the back of the house, and showed me where the ring had gone; the ice plant was thick. She then showed me how she believed the ring got there, and where she believed it probably was. I proceeded to search in the area she showed me with no luck. I expanded out in the direction she had shown, and continued in that direction; nothing. I was going to go in a different direction, but she insisted I continue looking where she thought it had gone. I have found over the years that sometimes our spacial view of things can be a bit skewed when we see things, and especially when all things look the same, as in a very large mat of ice plant. After finishing the requested area search, I convinced her to allow me to search in the other direction, and within minutes I found her ring. We know as Ringfinders, that searching “out of the box” can result, in many occasions, in a successful recovery. Olga ended up pleased with my request.

I got a call from a gentleman who lost his ring at the beach. He had gone surfing, and left it with his belongings. He picked his stuff up when leaving forgetting it was there, and the ring was gone. We arranged to meet right away so as to insure a successful recovery.

I received a call from Mary whose friend had lost a piece of jewelry while participating in a beach volley ball tournament. While going for the ball he hooked the chain holding the pendant, and it disappeared in the sand. I told her I would leave right away.

When I got there people were everywhere, and games going on in every court. It seemed an impossible task to do a search, but I was able to find Mary. She told me that it was believed to be lost on the perimeter of the court, so while the game was in play I ducked in and out of the court to detect. Finally the game ended, and I had a few minutes before the next one began to search some more. Then under the perimeter line I got a signal, dug with my scoop, but nothing came up. I was still getting a good signal, but nothing. Then I noticed something fall from my scoop on the next dig, and reached down to retrieve it. It was the pendant. Mary was happy, and her friend who had stared his new game gave me a quick handshake.
