Cape Cod, Yarmouth, MA Ring Finder Found Lost Cartier Love Bracelet and Returns it

The 4th was nearing, the temperatures, both air and water, were on the rise as were the crowds on Cape Cod beaches. I was taking an Ice Tea break from chores that needed doing around the house when the phone rang. The caller, Megan, told me of a lost, very sentimental, bracelet in waist deep water and the tide was coming in. I had no choice but to go immediately and I did.

I arrived at the beach and was told of 14 coins dropped around the area where the loss occurred. I did not waste much time in the usual chat before I begin searching. I had the area pointed out, and the coins to help me zero in on the exact area to search. Over an hour of searching and I started having doubt in my detector and the area I been shown as I had not found a single coin. It had to be a faulting detector. I made a quick dash back to the car for my back-up detector. Another half hour and still no coin, the tide had crested and now was on its way out. The family crowd nearing twenty began packing up and heading home for dinner.

I was determined to find the coins dropped and the bracelet. I had been shown a matching bracelet and I knew the coins were quarters. How could I be missing that many targets? It had to be the area was further off shore than I had been told. Just before Megan left I found a quarter. I now had to stay for the tide to recede and I did. Another half hour and I had half the coins, Thinking I had located another I took a scoop and there it was the gold Cartier Love Brace and a quarter so I thought. A quarter, yes, but no bracelet. How could it have gotten out of the scoop, was I imagining seeing the bracelet? After 4 hours of getting beat by the waves my mind probably was playing a trick on me. I took another scan of the area at my feet there was another target and there it was the bracelet, but only a half a golden circle. Had I broken it in half while scooping for the target? How was I going to tell Megan? Where was the other half?

While I was continuing my search, now in chin deep water, a mother and two young children returned to the beach bringing me a Thank You note and a box of sweets for my efforts. But I was not going to leave the target area I was in until I had the other balf of the bracelet and it paid off. Two more quarters and the other half of the bracelet was retrieved and safely resting in my goody pouch. Persistence and a lower tide was all it took to almost complete the story. Added for the Cartier Love Bracelet Story: My dad passed away 6 years ago and the last piece of jewelry he bought my mom (Karen) and me were matching Cartier Love bracelets …while playing in the ocean with her grand kids one of her grandsons pointed out that he saw her bracelet fall off the side of the float they were on- all family members immediately got in the water to help her look but had no luck- I found your information online and called after about an hour … and well you know the rest!!

I sent him a quick text to get some basic details and asked him to give me a call since it would be much easier to discuss everything over the phone.
Omar explained that they had spent the day at the beach, and his ring had disappeared. He believed it was either where they had been sitting or somewhere along the mid-slope down near the waterline. Since low tide was approaching overnight, I told him I’d head out first thing in the morning in case the ring had already started moving toward the surf.
When I arrived, I used the photos Omar had sent along with the beach access paths to line everything up. The tide was nearly at its lowest point, giving me the best chance of success. I began searching the entire area where he believed the ring had been lost, carefully covering the slope from top to bottom. Despite a thorough search, I wasn’t finding anything.
Something kept telling me to move a little farther south. Trusting my instincts, I shifted my search just a couple of paths over. Almost immediately, I got a deep, solid signal. One scoop later, there was Omar’s ring resting safely in the bottom of my scoop.

Newlywed’s Wedding Band is Lost in Rough Currents And Found With Metal Detector

Noah’s wife reached out to me saying her husband “had lost his ring at Emerald Isle and was very upset”. After getting a few details, I headed over as quickly as I could to the public access they were visiting.  When I arrived at the beach, strong waves were driving a powerful current along the sloped shoreline, and high tides were breaking over the slope, making the search tough. After a few passes in the water with no luck, I spotted Noah farther west in the water. He waved for me to try where he was, and just after he moved to shore, BAM! My XP Deus II gave a loud, clear 76 signal. The current was so strong that when I pulled my scoop from the sandy bottom, all the sand washed away, leaving only Noah’s large gold wedding band.

Heirloom Penny recovered in Minneapolis Metal Detecting

Robb was out in his yard working when his neighbors dog came up to his fence. Robb went over to pet the puppy and when he reached over the chain link fence, his necklace caught onto it and broke. He had 3 pieces on the necklace with the most important by far being a 2020 memorial penny he had saved as a remembrance to his brother that passed away in 2020. He found the other 2 pieces right away, though after hours of searching he nor his wife could find the penny. Robb went to the local metal detecting shop and asked them for help. Years ago I had stopped into that very shop and told the owner about theringfinders.com and gave them my card if anyone was ever in need of assistance. He gave Robb my number and I told him I’d be out to his home the next morning. I could see the area where Robb & his wife had been searching and I figured the coin would be close to the metal fence. This creates a big issue as our metal detectors will pick up the fence and mask out the sound of the penny. I turned my sensitivity down to a very low setting and started swinging away. I got a couple decent hits though they were in the ground a couple inches, my third hit was loud and solid. The penny was only 5 inches from the fence, but my Minelab Manticore handled it like a champ.

I received a call in regards to a Lost Ring that fell between the cracks of a balcony over the water. You can imagine how he must’ve felt when he felt the ring come off and fall between the cracks. You see Nick was only married 2 weeks ago! and that’s where the story begins. He & his wife and some friends spent hours under the patio, looking in big rocks, barnacles and fighting the tide that was coming in. This was an extremely difficult area to search because the size of the rocks and the voids between them left so many places where this ring could’ve fell down into and out of sight.

When I arrived, I assessed the area, It was on a 60° slope and hard to stand sometimes. I started with my Metal Detector and I was hitting knives and forks that were dropped from the restaurant up above also a few coins. I quickly decided that there was to much trash and it could be deeper than what my detector could find.

I changed to a headlight and started grid searching up and down the slope and looking in every crack & crevice. After approximately two hours, I caught a glint of what looked to be gold, about 15 inches down in a crevice. I carefully removed the top rocks and there it sat waiting to be found, and it was sitting right beside another crevice that it could’ve gone deeper and out of sight so I was very fortunate that it was there for me to find… I love my job!!!
