Lost ring recovered Central City Nebraska

  • from Lincoln (Nebraska, United States)

Elizabeth was out in the beautiful country enjoying a walk with her young son and dog when they ventured off the main road and through the tall grass in the ditch. When they eventually got back on the road she noticed her wedding ring of 7 years was not on her finger. Her husband tried all he could think of, weed whipping the ditch, burning it all off and buying a metal detector. The ring they felt was lost for good, even to the point of looking in jewelry stores for a replacement. That is when Elizabeth stumbled across Theringfinders.com. I took my partner, Nelson my son, so we could cover the most area in the shortest time. 35 minutes later we get the signal. We were honored to be a part of the story of returning an irreplaceable symbol to them. Rob 402-580-6933

Lost ring in Lake McConaughy recoverd.

Katie contacted me about her husband’s ring that went missing while enjoying a vacation at Lake McConaughy here in Nebraska.  It was the longest I would end up driving to do a recovery but they lived 2 states away and had been married for only 2 months so I felt it needed to be done. We agreed about what time I would show up at the lake. I actually drove through a time change so I was there an hour early.  They had given me good information including pictures so I set up a grid in the water and got to work.  After Bradon showed up he help me narrow down the area.  Not long after that I got a distinct signal among the mineralized lake bottom noise. They cooked me lunch and we enjoyed the afternoon together. GBR

Casey was busy loading up his kids for a trip to the country for a birthday party. On his way home he realized his ring was missing. He contacted me and I could hear the devastation in his voice. He answered many questions and we started the search at his house. After that we hit the acreage with no luck. I went through his car out there and even the car seats. Nothing.  I decided to go back to his house. Checked the storm drains and walk way. Nothing.  Again hitting the car that has an endless amount of hiding spots. BOOM. Tucked away in the shoulder strap area of a baby seat was his irreplaceable ring symbolizing his unconditional love and sacrifice for his wife and kids. Thanks for entrusting something so special to my recovery efforts. Lincoln, Nebraska and surrounding areas metal detecting and recovery specialist.

We were contacted about a lost wedding ring set. Lindsay had put them in her pocket while applying sunscreen to everyone.  Well the activities of July 4th happened and when she got back home there was no celebration because her rings of 11 years were gone. Through much communication which included endless questions we started our search.  We endoscoped the boat, dock and searched the cabin area. We headed to another area they were at and my partner Nelson who is my 13yrld son found one and then the other in the shallow water.

25th anniversary band recovered after lost for 6 months

  • from Lincoln (Nebraska, United States)

We were challenged to find a 25th wedding anniversary enhancement band that was lost last summer. Its been dry here and the ground has had big cracks. That concerned me the most, possible depth. My son and I worked for an hour then I switched to a smaller coil because the ground was trashy. 30 minutes later we were able to return the ring. My client, now my friend who wishes to remain anonymous, fed us in depth details of how it was lost including a walk through. The open communication was the winning combination.  402-580-6933

Wedding ring recovered after 25 years in a lake.

  • from Lincoln (Nebraska, United States)

Bill and Brita were celebrating the day before their 1997 wedding with friends and family that included fun in the farm lake. Cousins were riding horses in the lake and Brita was playing with a friend. She felt her ring come off. They all searched for it, it was even metal detected by a few people.  I was challenged 25 years later to recover it. After lots of questions,  looking at land marks and comparing them to pictures that day I decided it was time to try because of the dry year and lower water levels and the cold weather was about to move in. I realized I was dealing with 2-3 feet of muck, silt and debris. My conventional metal detector was not going to work. I duct taped my pinpointer to a broom handle and begin to probe. Many trips to the lake probing finally revealed a target 26 inches under muck and 3 inches into the original lake bed. I was so honored to give Bill the wedding ring back which he gave to his wife of 25 years last week for her birthday.  She now wears her engagement ring for the first time after being married.
