When Trey reached out after losing his ring somewhere in his backyard while doing yard work, he wasn’t sure if he’d ever see it again. It wasn’t just any ring—it was a beautiful tungsten ring with a meteorite inlay, making it a very special piece.
I packed up my metal detector and made the 1 hour and 45 minute drive to Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, hoping I could help Trey recover it.
Once I arrived, Trey showed me the area where he had been working and the spots where he thought the ring might have disappeared. I started working my way through the yard, carefully checking the ground and listening for those promising signals.
After searching the area, I finally got the signal I was looking for—and there it was!
Trey’s tungsten ring with the meteorite inlay was back in his hands.
That’s what makes being a Ring Finder so rewarding. Sometimes it’s a short trip down the road, and sometimes it’s a nearly two-hour drive. But when you can return something valuable and sentimental to its owner, the drive is absolutely worth it.
Another ring found, another happy customer, and another great Tennessee recovery! Equipment used was an Equinox 900 and the TID was 35.
