Lost Gold Cross in Rutherford NJ…. Found!

  • from Millburn (New Jersey, United States)

⚾✝️😁I spoke to Dan about a gold cross his son lost at baseball practice. The cross belonged to his wife’s father and was passed down to his son. The cross was very sentimental and the whole family was eager to locate it. We made a plan to meet at the ballfield the next day. Good thing his son had a really good idea where he had lost it in the infield. He explained that he knew he had it running to first base and by the time he had walked back to the dugout it was gone. I started my search on the first base line and within 30 mins I got a 6-8 signal on my Nox. Sure enough, it was the cross!! Another happy ending, I love being able to help people located items that mean so much to them! 😁 ✝️⚾

Lost Earring Cedar Grove NJ…. FOUND!!!

🍂🦃Shout out to John Favno, The South Jersey Ring Finder, for this lead!🦃🍂

John called me on Monday about a hunt that was just too far from his location. He gave me Dana’s number and I called her when I got off the phone with John. Dana had lost an earring while putting up her Christmas decorations. She checked to see if her earrings were still in place, as she often does, and only the back of her earring was still stuck to her ear. She had been going back and forth to the garage getting decorations for her back deck and had lost it somewhere along the way. She searched high and low and was only able to find the earring jacket. Her neighbors also came over to help hunt with a searchlight and still no luck. When I arrived on Thursday, she showed me the area she had been working in and also showed me where she found the jacket. It was a SUPER difficult hunt because there was tons of competing metal in the area, landscape lighting, paver barriers, and a ton of other stuff. So, I had to use my small 6-inch coil and go really, really slowly to rule out all sorts of other stuff. Thankfully after about 30 minutes of searching, I was able to locate the earring in a small pile of rocks and return it to Dana. It was probably one of the best starts to a Thanksgiving ever!! 🙂

Lost Ring Short Hills NJ… Found!!!

  • from Millburn (New Jersey, United States)

This hunt was a good reminder to always ask the right questions before I start my search! Amit called me Saturday night about a ring he lost while doing yard work. We made plans for the next morning to search the large leaf pile he made and also a few other areas of his yard. After searching the leaves and the yard with no luck, I thought to ask if he was wearing gloves or if he had checked in his jacket and pants pockets. And, sure enough, the ring was in his gloves!! So happy he was able to get his ring back! My detector skills were only able to rule out locations this time which was helpful in narrowing down the hunt area and ultimately helped point us in the right direction to find the ring.

🏖💍SUCCESSFUL RECOVERY ALERT!!!💍🏖
Shout out to John Favano of Ring Finders South Jersey for the lead!
I contacted Keith after John called me and told me Keith had lost his wedding ring and needed help! Keith had taken the day off to celebrate his wife’s birthday by going to the beach for a relaxing day with their dog. When they arrived at the beach, Keith started digging out a hole for his dog so she could lay down in cooler sand. As he was brushing off his hands his ring flew off into the sand. He and his wife searched to no avail. When I arrived, he showed me the 3ft x 3ft area where the ring landed. I started my search and within a few minutes, I had his ring in my scoop!! Happy to reunite another ring and owner!! 🥳😁🥳

Lost Bracelet Scotch Plains NJ… Found!!!

  • from Millburn (New Jersey, United States)

Zack reached out to me after he found a post on Reddit about my ring-finding services. He lost a gold bracelet his grandfather left to him in his will while playing wiffle ball in his friend’s backyard. He mentioned the area was covered in heavy vegetation, so I was a little concerned that the hunt would be a little challenging, but after he sent me a picture of the area I knew I could locate the bracelet. We made plans to meet up the following weekend and after about 15-20 minutes of hunting the area, I got a solid 8 signal on my Minelab Equinox 800. I looked down and there it was, success!!! I love being able to help return missing items to people, especially when they have such sentimental value!

Lost Ring Westfield NJ… Found

I had covered 99.99% of the ground on this hunt and turned up nothing.  But, on the probably 3rd to last swing I got a strong signal and sure enough, within a thick layer of grass was a men’s Platinum wedding bad!  It started the previous Saturday night when I received a text message from Roger about his missing wedding band.  He had lost the band cleaning up his yard and had an idea of where he thought he lost it.  We agreed to meet the next morning and hunt for the ring.  He thought it was more than likely in the backyard, but could also be on the path to the front of the house.  I searched the backyard with no luck.  I had made it down 99.99% of the path and still no luck, but in the very last patch of grass before the driveway there it was!  It just proves that you should never give up because the missing item can be found on your very last patch of grass to hunt.  I was so happy I could help Roger out.  He was a really great guy and very easy to work with! 🙂

Lost Ring Westfield NJ… Found!!!

I recieved a text from a woman about 3 weeks ago whose husband had lost his class ring somewhere in their house.  I explained that I wouldn’t be much help in finding the ring inside, because of all the competing larger metal items.  I gave her some tips on where to look and sent her some good luck wishes.  Well, she texted me again with good and bad news.  Her husband had found his ring but… it was lost again, this time outside.  We made plans to look for it the following day.  When I arrived, her husband recounted how he had thrown a large stick into the brush and ivy along their property and watched his ring fly off.  He had a pretty good idea of where it landed, so this was a pretty quick hunt.  A couple of swings and the target was under my coil! Happy to reunite another ring and owner!! 🙂

Lost Property Stake in Washington NJ… Found!!!

  • from Millburn (New Jersey, United States)

One of my fellow Ring Finders Tracy received a call from Janet.  She wanted to know if he could find a buried property marker on her land.  Unfortunately, Tracy was out of town for work, so he referred her to me, and I was happy to help!  Janet was so super easy to work with and just a wonderful person.  She knew exactly where the stake was and once I had pinpointed it, she pretty much did all the digging (that never happens)!  I don’t often get calls about property stakes, so this was a fun departure from the typical ring hunt.  And, as always, I was happy to be of service and find the stake.  Another missing item recovered!!! 🙂

Lost Ring Morristown NJ… Found!

  • from Millburn (New Jersey, United States)

Adam called me looking for some help finding his platinum wedding band which he lost about a week and a half ago.  His 4-year-old son had asked to see the ring in the house, but then went out in the backyard and ran around.  Needless to say, the ring fell off while he was out in the yard and was lost in the grass.  We made plans to meet the next day at his house to search the yard.  I started my search close to the house and made grid lines with my feet.  About 75% through the yard, I got a solid 16 showing at a depth of 1 shovel on my Equinox 800.  Sure enough,   there was the ring.  It’s always a great feeling to be able to find and return a ring!  And, it’s even better when it’s a person as nice as Adam and his family! 🙂

Lost Ring Randolph NJ… Found!!

  • from Millburn (New Jersey, United States)

LT contacted me after losing his wedding band at the beach.  He had placed it in a zipper pocket in his tent and forgot to zipper the pocket.  When he was getting ready to go home the ring was nowhere to be found.  We made plans and met up at the local beach in Randolph NJ where he had lost the ring.  LT was great, he knew exactly where he had been sitting and was able to outline an area to help narrow down the search area!  I started searching the area that he had outlined, and I was able to locate the ring in about 20 mins.   So happy I was able to help reunite ring and owner! 🙂 And remember, if you have lost an item take note of the exact area you are in with landmarks or pins on Google maps.  It really helps in locating any item you have lost!
