How to find your outside water turn-off valve…Surrey BC.

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Outside- Water turn off valve…No Find – No Fee

Don’t rent or buy a metal detector… Hire a metal detecting specialist.

I was woken up to a phone call at 2:45 AM in regards to finding a water turn off valve. The young man’s house was starting to flood downstairs and he could not locate his outside water turn off valve, which when found would stop any water coming in from the city hook up.

Unfortunately this happens, peoples outside water turn off valve gets covered up by grass or people plant over top of it forgetting how important it is to have it where you can see it, with easy access in case of these types of emergencies.

This young man was digging all over his yard looking for it in the early morning hours, even called a plumber who said he couldn’t help him unless he found the water turn off valve and recommended he call someone with Metal Detecting experience.

All I do is locate it, then he hast to get the plumber in to do the rest, I made it to his house before 3:30 AM and found his water turn off valve. He was very happy and from what I understand he called the plumber and got everything fixed up.

Please don’t wait until it’s too late. Have me come out to locate your hidden water turn-off valve so you can have easy access in case something like this happens to you.

Did you know most insurance companies will not cover the water damage to you home if you have no access to your water turn off valve, it’s in the contract.

I received an email asking about my service and how it worked, I quickly reply back to discuss the search and get the detail. Turns out this young man lost his wedding band at Pitt lake. This search would required the use of a paddle board to get drop zone. This will be my second time on a paddle board in less than a month. It also meant I had to cross Pitt Lake to access the area where he was swimming (About a 30 minute paddle)

I met the young couple and we started our journey to the location where the ring was lost, after arriving it took a little while to locate the exact location he had marked with a long stick but with the help of his wife who remembered a tree in the water by shore, that help get me in the correct location and shortly after I was able to locate the missing ring! I love my job! Such a lovely young couple, and only married a year and two days. Imagine how upsetting that was for both of them, but to see their smiles makes all the paddling to get there worth it!

Lost your ring, cell phone, car, keys or any sentimental items? Don’t wait till it’s too late! Contact Chris Turner, 778-838-3463, ASAP 24/7

Two weeks ago after the fireworks in Vancouver I found a wallet shortly after 2:30 AM on the ground behind my van. It had a lot of ID and credit cards, I knew this would be missed. I quickly put an ad on the craigslist lost & found and waited for the call. I got no call, so I went through the wallet and found what looked like his work number and reached out to let them know I found an employees wallet, and if they could message him and give him my contact info.

2 weeks later I was about to take the wallet to the Vancouver police to drop it off as I never heard from the person, strangely that morning I got the phone call from Conrad asking if I still had his wallet. We met and I gave him back his wallet, I asked him why it took so long to contact me? His answer was he only got the message yesterday that the wallet was found, so his work did not respond too quickly to my original message, but the end result he got his wallet back with a lot of his ID.

If you lost your ring/cell phone/keys or any sentimental items at the beach, park, lake or a yard… Don’t wait until it’s too late- Call ASAP 24/7  Chris 778-838-3463

I received a text message in regards to a lost earring at Spanish banks beach, I quickly called the young lady to discuss the search. I found out this was a very sentimental earring that was gifted to her by her friends in France when she left to Canada, five years ago. Most all jewellery I find has amazing beautiful stories attached to then and I get the opportunity to reconnect people with their lost items and help continue these stories.

We met at the beach and she showed me the area where she believe she had lost it the night before, I began my search and fortunately it wasn’t a very big area, but it was a very small earring and I didn’t have the other one to test so it was a matter of cleaning out the whole area changing detectors and using the sniper coil. 35 minutes later  I found her beautiful earring!

I received a call from the lifeguards at English Bay beach the other day in regards to a set of keys that was lost by one of guards.

I went out to meet and see if I could locate the keys for them, when I arrived one of the lifeguards showed me the area that they believed the keys were lost in and boy was it a big area!

The saving grace was that he was walking along the high tide line the whole length of the beach so I knew I had a good chance of fin ding them. After 2 1/2 hours of searching I found them!

I’m always happy to help out the LifeGuards at our Vancouver beaches as they’ve been great to TheRingFinders!

I quickly called and talk to the young lady who explained she had lost her engagement ring and wedding band at Centennial Beach for days ago… During the summer it is crucial to act fast due to the amount of people who are metal detecting the beaches these days.

She told me she bought a Metal Detector and her husband searched for four hours with no luck, they found bottle caps and  pull tabs, and that was about it. I told her I had over 50 years of experience metal detecting and explained to her it would be worth me going and checking just to make sure it wasn’t still there and they missed it.

How to find a lost ring in the sand at 3rd Beach, Stanley Park.

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

If you have lost a cherished keepsake at the beach or park, don’t wait until it’s too late! Call ASAP 24/7  778-838-3463

I received a text message this morning from a young lady who said her husband had lost his ring at third beach in Stanley Park, this time of year these beaches get detected on a regular basis, day and night. My first question was, did you lose it by a log? his reply was no it was closer to the seawall, which is a great thing, because most people detect all around the logs.

This gave me hope I cook the set up a time to meet at the beach and I did a little rescheduling for another search that was at least an hour and a half drive away from where this young man had lost his ring. I knew I had to go to this one first due to the high traffic area he lost it in.

After meeting the young man at the beach and hearing the story on how the ring was put on a chair, then the chair was moved a few feet over, it wasn’t until later he realized his ring was gone. Good luck, trying to find it in a desert of sand. His wife went home and found me online and text me for help, the rest was history. Fortunately, they marked the area and the search took less than a minute to find his beautiful ring and that wonderful smile. I love my job.!!!!
