Hi Alan,
My wife just lost her wedding band at Rehoboth Beach, we use the New Castle Street entrance to the beach, straight down.
It fell off right at the shore line, in just inches of water, she wore it as a toe ring.
It is 14k yellow gold and engraved
with our initials and she has had it for 40+ years.
