Naomi and her husband and their two children were vacationing from Huston, Texas with other family members in Riverside. They all went to the beach on Anna Maria Island for some fun in the sun and gulf waters. They set up camp with a canopy and chairs and went about enjoying the day. At some point Naomi was in the water and could feel that her beautiful wedding ring was to loose and asked her husband to go put her rings into the beach bag under the canopy. He did as she asked except he put the rings onto a chair cup holder instead of the bag. When it came time to leave they picked up the chairs and the rings flew into the sand. Naomi’s brother spotted one of the rings but after continuing to search the wedding ring could not be found. After arriving home that evening Naomi’s grandfather found the SRARC ring finders on the internet. They contacted Howard Metts and he put out a request for hunters. Mike Miller responded and was soon on the hunt. After about 30 minutes the ring was recovered. Naomi was already in Orlando to catch a flight home so she asked her sister to meet Mike and the ring was put into her hands for the safe return to Naomi. SRARC is happy to have been able to bring another happy ending to a vacation in Florida.

Howard Metts contacted Robert Clarke Sunday evening, January 9th in regards to a lost diamond tennis bracelet in the sand on Clearwater Beach. Robert advised he could respond and contacted Leslie, the owner of the missing tennis bracelet, got her exact location on Clearwater beach and headed that way. Robert met Leslie and her son near Tower 1 on Clearwater beach where she explained while throwing a football around with her family she felt her diamond tennis bracelet come off. They were able to find SRARC and ringfinders thru the internet and called Howard. Smartly, Leslie stayed in the exact spot where she felt the bracelet come off. Robert started detecting at that spot and within one minute got a faint “1” signal on his Nox, took out his pin pointer and on the first sweep, the pin pointer hit the necklace, revealing it in the sand just below the surface. Leslie was overjoyed, crying with happiness, believing she would never see the necklace again and gave Robert a big hug and kiss on the check. Another successful SRARC jewelry recovery!

If you have lost your ring or any other precious item, “Don’t Wait – Call Now.” Dylan and Nicole were in town from Denver to visit family and friends, and to hang out at the local beaches. Dylan was standing in the water at Indian Shores Beach throwing the football when his white gold wedding band came off his finger. The search that followed proved unproductive, and an internet search led Dylan to Ringfinders. He contacted SRARC vice president Joe Szemer, who put out a notice about the loss. Bill Gallant and Mike Shuler responded and met Dylan at the site. Dylan stayed as long as he could, but eventually had to leave to meet family in Clearwater. After two hours of unsuccessful hunting, Bill and Mike were getting concerned. They decided to go outside the boundaries of the search zone, and within a few minutes, the ring was found! They contacted Dylan, who rushed back to the beach with Nicole to meet Bill and Mike in the parking lot! The photo shows how excited this wonderful couple was to have their sentimental item back! Since he had to return to Denver the next day, SRARC is especially glad that Dylan could relax and enjoy the last day of his Florida vacation!
