Marisa stepped outside and noticed the wind had blown a lot of branches and moss onto the lawn, so she decided to do some picking up. Her fingers were slightly swollen, so she moved her platinum diamond ring to her little finger before starting. She was shocked and saddened to find the ring was no longer on her finger when she finished her chore. She found SRARC Ringfinders and contacted Joe Szemer. A hunt was set up for that afternoon with Bill Gallant and Mike Shuler. In the end, it was Marisa’s keen eyesight that was responsible for her ring being found…she spotted it in the front lawn and ran to the back yard with it to show Bill and Mike, who were searching there. We’re grateful for “honorary ringfinder” Marissa’s help, and so happy that she has her beautiful ring back!

Ring Lost on Redington Shores. Recovered By SRARC.

Josh and his family were visiting friends at Redington Shores. As he and his daughter were swimming in the deep water in front of the sand bar, his daughter accidentally kicked Josh’s hand, sending his wedding band to the bottom. After unsuccessfully combing through the sand with his toes, Josh considered buying a metal detector. Phil Meyers, the owner of a metal detector shop in Tampa, told him about SRARC and Ringfinders. Josh contacted Joe Szemer, who put out an announcement to the Ringfinder group. Bill Gallant, Ed Osmar, Mike Shuler, and Rob Clarke responded to the site. After about 45 minutes, Ed said he had a very promising signal, and sure enough, it turned out to be Josh’s ring! Josh met the group at the beach, and was beaming when Ed handed him his wedding band!

Amy and Mark, from Illinois, were sunning on beautiful Treasure Island Beach, Florida. Mark took his ring off and dropped it, hitting the table in the cabana. The ring flew out into the sand. After looking and raking the sand, the ring could not be found. SRARC was called and Joe was dispatched to the area. A few swings of the detector and the ring was found.

Ring Recovered On Redington Shores

Mike and I went to beach where ring was lost Monday and found that a beach re-sanding pipeline had been laid right through the area that we were to hunt, we spent about 2 1/2 hrs hunting both sides of the pipeline and sand that had been moved around because of the pipeline. I called the ring owner and told her that we could not find her ring and why and she said maybe it had fallen out of her purse near the car when she was getting the keys out. She sent me a photo of where the car was parked and I went there and started detecting the grass near where the car was parked, Five minutes later the ring was found. Today she came here from Lakeland and was reunited with her ring, she was very happy and said if we ever need a professional photographer to call her.
