Julio and Maria were vacationing from Georgia and enjoying a swim in the gulf when Maria’s engagement ring slipped off her finger. After searching in the water without success, they found our SRARC Ring Finders site and contacted us to do a hunt. Bill Gallant and Howard Metts searched for the ring for about 35 minutes. Howard Metts came up with the ring to the astonishment of the young couple. They were heading back to Georgia the next morning and were relieved to see the ring again.

Mark and Amber were down from Pittsburg to visit family and friends, and to enjoy the beach from their seaside condo. Amber was mossing a defender in an intense game of football in waist-deep water, and soon after discovered that her beautiful wedding ring was no longer on her finger! The group snorkeled for hours trying to recover Amber’s precious ring. The couple started to lose hope and were already discussing a replacement ring when they returned to Pennsylvania, when a bypasser suggested they look up Ringfinders on the internet. They found the site and were directed to the Suncoast Research and Recovery Club. Mark and Amber contacted SRARC vice president Joe Szemer, who made arrangements for a hunt with metal detectors. Club members Bill Gallant, Ed Osmar, and Mike Shuler responded and started gridding the area. After about 45 minutes of searching, an emotional Amber was able to pick her ring out of the scoop and place it back on her finger! We’re glad Mark and Amber will be able to fully enjoy the rest of their visit!

Kristen was on the beach with her family. After a day of fun, she noticed her wedding rings were missing. After looking throughout the condo, she determined the rings were lost on the beach. Maybe it happened when she applied sunscreen to her children, not sure. She found SRARC.COM online and asked for help. Ed rushed over to the beach and began the hunt. After scanning the area, the rings were found. Lots of joy and excitement followed. Another excellent return for job well done.

Tyler and his large extended family from Indiana were staying at a condo on Reddington Beach, enjoying the Florida sun, sand and surf.  Tyler placed his wedding band on a towel to apply sunscreen, and the next thing he knew, his ring was missing.  Everyone pitched in and raked through the sand with their fingers, but with no success.  While looking online about how to rent a metal detector, they found the site for SRARC and Ringfinders.  Tyler called for assistance, and a notice was sent out to the group.  Bill Gallant and Mike Shuler responded to the site, where Tyler and his family had been keeping careful watch over the area.  In less than five minutes, Mike held his scoop out to Tyler, who saw the ring inside and excitedly plucked it out.  We’re glad to see Tyler reunited with his ring so that he can continue to enjoy his beach vacation!

Sandy was pulling weeds from the lake and realized the ring her mother had given her had come off her finger. Her daughter contacted our SRARC Ringfinders and spoke to Howard Metts who arranged a hunt. Rob Clarke, Howard Metts, and Ed Osmar responded for the hunt. After checking for gators the hunters headed into the lake with Howard spooking a water snake that left the water. Five minutes latter Rob came up with the ring. Sandy was overjoyed to see the ring again. Great job team!

Ring Recovered On Redington Shores

Mike and I went to beach where ring was lost Monday and found that a beach re-sanding pipeline had been laid right through the area that we were to hunt, we spent about 2 1/2 hrs hunting both sides of the pipeline and sand that had been moved around because of the pipeline. I called the ring owner and told her that we could not find her ring and why and she said maybe it had fallen out of her purse near the car when she was getting the keys out. She sent me a photo of where the car was parked and I went there and started detecting the grass near where the car was parked, Five minutes later the ring was found. Today she came here from Lakeland and was reunited with her ring, she was very happy and said if we ever need a professional photographer to call her.
