EMERALD ISLE, NC – Just minutes after losing his 5-month-old wedding ring, Brandon called Crystal Coast Ring Finders. I arrived shortly after high tide and began searching from high to low toward the ocean. After three and a half passes, the Deus II metal detector gave a solid 46 reading. Pinpointing the spot, I took one scoop, but a wave rushed in and washed away the sand. As I lifted the scoop to check, there it was—Brandon’s bright gold wedding band. I held up the scoop basket, and Brandon happily reclaimed his lost ring.
This year’s charity is Fishin’ for a Cure and 10% of Brandon’s reward will be donated to support individuals battling breast cancer.
