This ring find began when I got a call from Nai who lives on the North Shore of Oahu and was enjoying the day at Hilton Hawaiian Village Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon. While carrying his baby daughter in waist deep water he noticed his wife Zhelle’s ring he had been wearing went missing. He knew the exact area but the water was very murky where he was looking and he could not find it. I told Nai I would be there in about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Thankfully, he had a spot reserved for me to park as it was totally packed. When I arrived Nai & his lovely wife Zhelle met me in the parking lot and walked me over to the area to hunt. I wasn’t 10 feet in and got a nice tone…darn it was a nickel. I walked out to the end of the first grid line and turned around two steps and boom target screaming in the Manticore. It took a few scoops to get the target in the scoop but when I finally did Wow, what a beautiful ring it was. Nai and all their friends were so grateful and gave many thanks. So happy to help!
