Pam was out in front of her condo doing a little fall clean up. She was removing the leaves from the shrubs when she felt her diamond wedding ring fall off her finger. She knew it couldn’t have gone far, though she, her husband and some neighbors searched for hours with no luck. She went on-line and searched for helped, coming across theringfinders.com and she gave me a call. We set up a time for the next day and I met her & her husband in front of her building. She showed me exactly what happened and I assured her, if her ring is in this 20′ X 20′ area, I’ll find it. Over 40 years of metal detecting, I think I’ve got this down to a science :O) –
It took about 1 minute and I received that beautiful gold tone through my Minelab Manticore headphones. I took out my pin-pointer and found her ring under some leaves and thick grass.
So glad I could reunite you with your wedding ring Pam. It was nice meeting and chatting with both of you and I will be checking out Perch lake. It is a non-motorized lake, though I can use my electric trolling motor…

Ethan went to his families cabin for a little rest and relaxation. He decided to take his dog into the lake for a little play time. He told me that he seriously thought about taking off his ring before gong into the water, though second guessed himself as he wouldn’t be staying in long or going very deep into the water. After getting out of the water, he noticed his wedding band was missing. He was pretty frantic and was really concerned about how disappointed his wife might be. He search the internet and found theringfinders.com. We spoke about the situation and I assured him that I would be able to recover the ring. I’ve been doing this for over 40 years now and I have learned all the tricks of the trade. As I tell people often “Not trying to sound pompous here” If the ring is there, I will find it. Being that Ethan was in 3 feet to 7 feet of water, I had to scuba dive. The dive took about 20 seconds and I found his wedding band. Ethan told me his wife is pregnant with their first child, so I wanted to say congrats and I wish you a lifetime of happiness!!!
Take care.

Libby & Andrew were on a visit to southern Minnesota with family. They visited a nearby park with a small swimming beach. Andrew decided to take a swim and while swimming in about 7 feet of water, he felt his white gold wedding band slip off. He dove down and searched, though the visibility was zero. All he could do is feel around in the muck and sand with zero luck. Libby got on line and started searching for help and came across theringfinders.com website. She called me and we discussed what had happened. It’s always important for me to get as much information as possible to help me in the recovery. Libby did an excellent job providing me with google map video’s depicting exactly where they thought the ring would be. I jumped in for scuba search and after pulling out a bunch of garbage, I got that nice tone of gold. There it was, a nice white gold wedding band.
Truly glad I could help you out and thanks to Libby for the great info. It really helps!

Elizabeth and her daughter were at a friends lake house, relaxing and hanging out on the dock. Her daughter jumped into the water and asked if Mom would join her. After a little back and forth, she decide to jump in for a dip. Elizabeth took her gold ring off for safe keeping, but she fumbled it a bit and it dropped straight through the deck boards into 9 feet of water. This ring was special as she melted down a couple of other rings to make one special ring with her daughters birth stone. They tried their best to recover it, though it was just too deep and soon it disappeared into the sandy bottom. Elizabeth searched the internet for help and came across theringfinders.com and contacted me. We discussed the scenario of what happened and set up a day & time for the search. Liz’s daughter pointed out exactly where it should be, and she was right on the spot! Recovered in about 15 seconds. Thanks for your help.
Happy I could help out, it was nice meeting both of you – Take care.

I received a call from Tina in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, about 45 minutes from me. She was out playing catch with the kids in her backyard. At some point she noticed her diamond ring was missing from her finger. Her and her family check all over the yard and couldn’t find it. One of the neighborhood kids has a metal detector and he scanned the area also, nothing. Tina was searching the internet for help when she googled “lost ring recovery in yard” and theringfinders.com website popped up. She called and we set a day & time for the search. This was a a wide open backyard with no metal or electrical interference, which is very nice for us metal detectorists. It only took about 5 minutes and the grass gave up this beautiful white gold diamond ring. Truly glad I could help you out Tina, Congrats!!

Allison’s Mom was out picking rhubarb when she notice her necklace pendant was missing from the chain around her neck. This necklace was a mothers day gift given to her nearly 20 years ago. It is gold with 3 diamonds representing her husband and two children. Of-course her whole family spent many hours searching the area to no avail. Without her mother knowing, she searched the internet for help and came across the ring finders website. She contacted me and we came up with a day & time to meet for the search. Allison was very excited to find this precious piece for her Mom, I told her, I’ll do my very best! A huge obstacle was an electric pole with a transformer right next to the search area. I had to play with my Manticore settings to get the best sensitivity level while trying to mask the electromagnetic interference. After going through the the rhubarb area with only 1 hit, an old bullet casing, I decided to expand to the grassy area around the mulch. A few swing later and I heard that beautiful “gold tone” a deep solid tone. There it was, pushed just far enough into the ground that it wasn’t visible. Allison called her Mom and told her the great news!!! She had her phone on speaker, so I was able to hear the excitement, which is a bonus for me 🙂
Allison, it was nice to meet you and I’m truly blessed to be able to help in these types of situations. Congrats and thanks for reaching out to theringfinders.com.
