Christian, a horticulture professor at the University was out working the test plots doing the final pickings and tilling when it happened. The thing nobody ever wants to have happen. He looked down and saw his wedding ring was missing. He had been outside all day and it seemed like the chances of finding it was like a needle in a haystack. A fellow professor found me through the ring finders on the web. I met Christian and we began to go over all the areas he was working, the list was long. I started at the most logical placeses first which ended up being the wrong choice on this recovery. As our real estate was quickly getting smaller he would bring up more small but important details. One of thos was something he did first thing in the morning when he got there, clean out the roto tiller. An over 3 hour hunt finally came to an end when I searched that area. As he was cleaning it out he said he was throwing debris off to the side. The rest is history. It’s always my honor to help people get back such irreplaceable and sentimental items.

I received a call about a worker who lost his ring while digging and working around some irrigation pipes. The boss took me out to the area and I started to get to work. This could have been a much dirtier job and was thankful that my experience helped me find it fairly quickly. I gave the boss the ring and he picked out a hot pink Lincoln Ring Finder shirt that he feels the employee is due him for losing his ring.

Jeff lost his wedding ring of 43 years while doing yard work. We talked about the activities he did and I begin to search. Immediately I was in a battle with EMI, produced by utilities and invisible fence for the dogs. Neither were able to be turned off so I needed to find away through it. I found that if I used the single 40khz on the Manticore that it would eliminate most of it. As luck would have it next to the phone, broadband and cable boxes where he had done some work, I had to resort to a smaller pinpointer and my knees. Boom, we finally had it. This was definitely a difficult search because of the EMI. I was so honored to be able to help Jeff out.

Sue was sitting in her back yard in her wheelchair watching her neice do some spring cleaning. As she sat there she realized her wedding ring of 57 years was not on her finger. Her husband passed a couple years ago and this ring was a constant reminder of the years they shared. For 3 days she looked around the house trying to find it with no success. She finally got on the internet and found The Ring Finders and gave me a call. After talking with her I decided to drop by her place and take a look around. Berenice was raking leaves and doing year end yard work. After dark she called it a night. Later inside the house she noticed her beautiful wedding ring of one year was not on her finger. Her husband found me online and gave me a call. Long story short it’s back where it belongs.

I got a call from Noah’s mom to see if I could help him locate a special ring that he had lost while playing basketball. It was a ring that his older brother once wore. What a blast to see siblings so close to each other. I got the story and pulled out my detector and……………Oh no. There was an underground dog fence giving off a lot of EMI. Bad thing was the house was vacant and I couldn’t turn it off. I started to make adjustments and learned that if I crept real slow I could hear signals amongst all the chatter. A few minutes later I let Noah be the one to operate the pinpointer and recovery the ring. The video shows the interference and the recovery.
