Special ring lost and found in Boulder

  • from Lakewood (Colorado, United States)

Aw this story ?David’s dad passed away in June and his wedding band was the only thing his dad left him. His dad wore it every day for several decades. Today David was coaching his son’s football team doing handoff drills when he lost his ring. He found Jeff online. So we headed to Boulder to hopefully help him out. David said this is the worst he’s ever felt and I could see that in his face. Jeff and I marked the perimeter and went to work. For some reason I darted from one spot to the other when typically I run in a pattern. I came across a great signal about 10 yards away from where he was handing off the football. We think a player pulled his ring off with the football and carried it that far before it was dropped. He was taken back but so happy that we found it so quickly. David said he had a fortune cookie for lunch and it said “Today you are going to meet some great people” He said “today, I did” ?

Lost wedding ring in Denver found and returned!

This gentleman lost his wedding band in a busy Denver park while playing with his dog. It was loose already and he was meaning to get it sized, unfortunately not before the day he lost it. After gridding the areas of possibilities with pin flags I went to work. After almost 2 hours and about half way through the grid, I got a perfect signal 73 on the Deus. I looked down and there it was camouflaged in dead grass. Exposed for anyone that would be looking for it. Need less to say he has made arrangements to make sure it fits properly.

They laid out a blanket and Erin decided to take the rings off to put lotion on. She had set them on the blanket and forgot about them. They were a Norte Dame class ring and a Claddaugh ring. As they were leaving they shook the blanket off and packed up. She was already on her way back to Chicago when she realized th
