I received a call last evening from Wayne requesting my help to locate his wife’s lost engagement ring. The ring had gone missing Sunday afternoon while they were at Billy D’s Driving Range with their two sons. After hearing Wayne explains the situation, I agreed to meet them in the morning and do everything I could to help.

I meet Wayne’s wife (Robyn) at the parking lot, she walked me through the events of the day. Robyn had taken her rings off and place them in her shoulder pouch at the batting cage facility, because she was afraid she would damage her rings, it wasn’t until she sat down on a bench at the driving range that she realized her ring was missing. She and Wayne searched the entire building, and four employees joined in to help – but no luck.

She then remembered going to the back of their truck to grab the boys’ golf bags. It was a long shot, but we checked the gravel parking lot. To her relief, that’s exactly where the ring was – still lying in the gravel after two full days.

Robyn was extremely fortunate, her white gold engagement ring blended perfectly with the stones, making the ring nearly invisible. Despite people walking and driving through the parking lot, no one had spotted the ring or picked it up. Finding it exactly where it fell brought huge relief to Robyn.

Another happy ending — and a beautiful engagement ring back where it belongs.
