Wedding band recovered in surf at Manasquan NJ by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call from fellow RingFinder Matty St Germain asking if I could go to Manasquan for a lost wedding band seeing he couldn’t. I called James and while at the beach he was in the water with his son throwing a football. While tossing the football, his ring flew off with it into the surf. I met him and he showed me the area he was in and I started hunting. Turns out I started out in to deep of water at first and couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t find it. I had the area he was in. After awhile I thought about the tide change and him telling Matty he was only about 10 to 15 feet from shore. Being low tide when I starting the hunt I moved closer to the shore line and sure enough I found his ring. He was grateful I found it, he mentioned his wife wasn’t to happy about it. Glad I could save the day and know his wife will be happy again. Another happy ending.

Cherished wedding band recovered in Long Branch NJ by Dennis Burlingame

I got a text from Alexandra in the evening asking if I could help locating her husband Dennis’ wedding band. I called her and asked what happened. While enjoying the day at the beach, Dennis went in for a swim and felt his wedding band slide off his finger while out in chest deep water. He was devastated, the ring ment so much to him, representing his marriage. Marry only 10 years but was with Alexandra for 26. Dennis was recently in the hospital and being sick had lost weight so the ring was alittle big on him now. Even while in the hospital the ring ment so much they wouldn’t let anyone take it off. Inside the ring was written in Hebrew ” I am my beloved and my beloved in mine ” I went down the next day at low tide and tried for 2 hours but couldn’t find it. I told them I’d be back the next day to try one more time. Went back down the next day and it was going on another 2 hours when I finally got a good signal. Dennis was with me when I heard the signal and with the waves bouncing us up and down, I dug 3 times before I could get it in the scoop and sure enough it was his ring. He was so excited I was afraid he’d drop it so I took it and started walking towards the beach and Alexandra was walking down to meet me, not knowing I found it. I walked up and said  I’m done I can’t do this anymore and reached out and handed her the ring . She couldn’t believe it. When Dennis came they just stood there and hugged each other for minutes and the people on the beach were clapping and cheering. One of the best recovery I’ve done in a long time. I’m so happy to reunite them with his ring.

Lost wedding band recovered in Spring Lake NJ by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call from Judith asking if I could help find her husband Kevin’s wedding band.  While playing volleyball with his kids his wedding band flew off his finger. They searched themselves but couldn’t find it.  While searching another beach goer told them about Ring Finders from seeing me on the beach a few times before. They found me on line and called. I told her I’d be on my way and met up with them about 15 minutes or so later. I saw where they were searching and just off to the left side I found Kevin’s ring. They were so glad to get it back. A great happy ending for all. So glad I could help.

Lost wedding band recovered in Manasquan NJ by Dennis Burlingame

Was sitting on Union Beach for the morning with my girlfriend when I got a call from Meir asking for help to locate his wedding band he lost the day before in Manasquan. Told him I’d pack up and head right down. Met him at the beach and luckily he put the area where he was sitting in his phones GPS. It seems coming out of the water drying off his ring slipped off his finger. At first he had me in one area then noticed I was alittle off the mark. I moved over about 15 feet and within 2 minutes I found his ring. Needless to say he was very happy to get it back. Another happy beach goer.

Lost wedding band recovered in Manasquan NJ by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call from fellow RingFinder Matty St Germain if I would help with a recovery. Matty got a call from Heather that while enjoying the beach her husband Andre was in the surf with his daughter and felt his wedding ring slip off. Matty went down the next 2 low tides but couldn’t find it. Having bad weather the ocean was a little choppy and hard to detect. I went down not knowing if I was going to hunt because a storm was on its way that night, the ocean was choppy but I went in anyway. Working through the swells after about 45 minutes I got the low tone on the detector I was looking for and found the ring. I met Heather where she was having dinner with her family that night and returned her husband ring. Another happy ending for all.

Lost wedding band recovered in Long Branch by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call from fellow RingFinder Steve Pacifico asking if I was able to do a recovery in Long Branch for a wedding band, of course I said no problem. He forward me Paul’s phone number and after calling him told him i’d be there in bout 25 minutes. I loaded up my gear and headed out. I met Paul at the beach and he told me he was enjoying the day with his wife and took off his platinum band to put lotion on and rested his ring on his lap, forgetting it was there stood up and the ring flew off and disappeared into the sand. They tried to search for themselves but couldn’t locate it, in doing so a couple sitting by them told them about RingFinder and they contacted Steve and in return being to far away got hold of me. Paul showed me where he was sitting and sure enough the first thing I heard after turning on my detector was Paul’s ring about 4 feet in front of his chair. Paul and his wife were grateful to get his ring back. Another happy couple and happy ending to the day.

She asked her fiancé to look up metal detector on google, thinking they’d buy one and in doing so found Ring Finder instead. I gave her a call and met up with her at the beach. All in all a happy Anna and a great ending to the day.

Wedding Set Recovered in Long Branch by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call from fellow Ring Finder Matty St Germain asking if I could go to Long Branch for a recovery. He gave me the number to Andrew who was on the beach for Labor Day with his family, and mom and dad. Seems his mom after getting settled in took off her rings to put lotion on and placed them on her lap and got distracted. Went to move her chair then remembered her rings but it was to late. 3 rings totaled but they could only find 1 sifting through the sand with their hands. He was on his way to get a rake to see if that would help when they found Matty on Ring Finders and called out to him. He couldn’t make it so he called me. Andrew’s father met me and took me down to the beach where they were sitting and showed me where mom was sitting and where they found the first ring. I checked from the chair out to the area they found the first ring and within a foot of where that one was I found the other two. Please excuse the photos, in a rush I left on phone in my car and had to have the dad take the pictures for me. All in all a Happy Ending for all and they can go and enjoy the rest of the holiday.

Wedding Set recovered in Ocean Grove NJ by Dennis Burlingame

Was just sitting down to eat and I got a call from fellow Ring Finder Matty St Germain asking if I could run to Ocean Grove to look for a lost wedding set. Said I would and loaded up the detector and headed out. I called Dascha and told her I was on my way and asked where to meet her. She was on the beach enjoying the day with her husband Gregg. She wanted to go down to the water and handed Gregg her rings to hold on to so not to lose them. Gregg slipped them on his pinkie finger but he also just put on lotion. He got up and walked down to the water edge to be with Dascha and then noticed the rings were missing. Dascha went on google and found Ring Finders and called Matty but he couldn’t go so he reached out to me. They were waiting for me on the beach and with luck would have it, it started to rain. I asked Gregg to mark the path he took to walk down to the water and told them no need to stay in the rain because I didn’t know how long it was going to take. They took their chair and headed to the car and I figure the best place to start was where they were sitting. Started detecting around where the chair was and first target was her band, detected a little more in the area and not to far was her engagement ring. I started to walk off the beach and called them and she was still on the boardwalk because Gregg was getting the car. She couldn’t believe I found them already and was so glad and grateful to have her rings back where they belonged. Great Happy Ending to a rainy afternoon.
