I received a call from Oren who had lost a pendant in a college sand volleyball court. He was able to get me permission to come and metal detect the area, so I was on my way.

When I got there Oren showed me the court, and the area where he believed it came off. I gathered my equipment together, and began the search.I took about 4 passes in the grid before I got any signal, and low and behold, the one signal was Oren’s pendant. He told me that his mother had given it to him, and it was very sentimental, so I am glad I was able to help him that day.

Small Silver Pendant lost in Sand at Newport Beach, CA. Found by Using a metal detector expert

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

** Susan lost a very sentimental pendant in the sand at Newport Beach, CA. She had been running to catch a ball near where her friends had set up their beach towels and umbrella for a fun day at the beach, when her necklace broke.

Someone on the beach saw everybody searching the sand and told them that they  could find a metal detecting service online. They didn’t know such a thing existed.

I was contacted and arrived at Newport Beach soon after talking with her.. A half hour into the search I located her special dime size pendant.. It was a happy ending to a day that was looking like she was never going to see her pendant again..
