Karen reached out after losing her ring in the backyard while starting some spring cleanup. One minute it was on her finger, the next it was gone. No gloves and no clear idea where it slipped off, just the feeling it might be gone for good.
This was not just any ring. It represents 45 years of marriage. You could hear how much it meant.
We began searching the yard slowly, working through signals and covering the area piece by piece. Plenty of noise along the way, but about 30 minutes in, a clean solid tone came through. The kind that makes you stop.
And there it was.
Ring recovered and back where it belongs.
What an amazing Sunday morning.
