Well this was an EXTREME first for me!
Got a call from a range safety officer at a near-by long distant gun range. He advised me a gentleman had shot his titanium suppressor off his 300 PRC and it had traveled about 100-150 yards.
The terrain has wash out ditches and briars. “GOOD TIMES!”
So after work, I headed to the range, met up with this gentleman and two other guys that had been searching for it for hours already.
I get set up and start walking and veered to the left of where he shot and there it was! I had searched what these wound ring up as on my XP DEUS II and it told me 88 and above (WRONG) it was a 69/70 VDI. Luckily I saw it! Only took me about 10 mins to find it. I got very lucky to have walked and veered to the left!
“DIG IT ALL, SAVE SOME SUPPRESSORS, AND BURY THE DRAMA!”
