Ring Lost On Anna Maria Island, Recovered By SRARC
Matt was down with his wife and baby for a first time visit to Anna Maria Island from Orlando. It was the first day of open beach on the Island as the Covid 19 restrictions were loosened. They were enjoying sitting in the sun and feeling the cool breeze coming off the Gulf of Mexico. Suddenly Matt noticed his wedding ring was missing and they began to search through the sand for it. Time was getting short since they needed to leave soon to return to Orlando when Matt found SRARC on the internet and contacted Howard Metts. Howard contacted Mike Miller and Mike headed for the beach right away. After meeting at the beach and walking to the location Mike took about 6 or 8 swings and found the ring. SRARC is happy that the ring was found so quickly and the family was able to keep on schedule to return home with smiles on their faces.
