Glasses Lost On Siesta Key Beach Are Recovered By SRARC

The McCoy family met friends on Siesta Key Beach to enjoy the sunset and Forth of July fireworks. As they visited, the kids were all hard at play. As they packed up to leave for home they noticed that Porter’s glasses were missing. When they asked him where they were he had no idea. They searched and dug in the sand several different times but could never find them. The decided Porter must have buried them in a hole. Jenna contacted Joe Szemer at SRARC and a hunt was scheduled for July 7, 2019. Corey met Paul Hill and Mike Miller at the site and defined the area to be hunted. Paul and Mike went right to work and after about 10 minutes Mike found them just below the surface. We are ever so happy to have Porter’s glasses back in his possession for the upcoming trip to Yosemite.

Ring Lost on Siesta Key is Recovered by SRARC

The dreaded ring in the chair trick is no match for our Ringfinders!
************************************************
Rick and his wife were down from North Georgia near Atlanta enjoying the
wonderful beaches near Siesta Key. Rick’s wife took off her wedding band
and put it in the beach chair for safe keeping. When they were ready to
go they scooped up the chair, shook off the sand and headed for the
condo. Only to realize the ring was back on the beach. Rick found SRARC
online and made the call. Just so happens Mike Miller and Paul Hill were
less then a half mile away looking for another lost ring. They were
about ready to leave because the surf was too rough to hunt due to the
storms out in the gulf. They headed right over and were met by Rick
immediately. He took them to the spot were he thought they had set up on
the day before. The search began. Within 3 minutes Paul had the ring in
his scoop. Rick was amazed and truly shocked that they had recovered his
wife’s matching wedding band. He actually wiped a tear from his eye.
It just doesn’t get any better then that!
Enjoy your stay and come back any time!
Thanks guys for your compassion and time!

Ring Lost on Coquina Beach. SRARC recovers it.

Jessica, Daniel and friends traveled from Brooksville to Coquina Beach for a day in the sun and water over the Memorial day weekend. They were all in the water and tossing a nerf football between them. Jessica was standing to the side watching when all of a sudden Daniel threw the ball at her. She put her hand up to deflect the ball and off flew her wedding ring. They looked for about a half and hour or so, but decided there was no way to find it. A little later they contacted SRARC through Ring Finders and arrangements were made for a hunt the next day. Mike showed up at 6:30 am and started to hunt. After about 3 hours of hunting up came the ring. Whe informed her ring had been found, Jessica hopped into her car and drove all the way from Brooksville to retrieve it. As you can see in the picture she was all smiles.

Ring Lost at Crescent Beach, Siesta Key. SRARC recovers it.

Amanda and Sam visited us from Nebraska for a little spring warm up. It was a special place to them and they were happy to be back once again. Sam had something special in mind as they went to Siesta Key Crescent Beach. They laid out their blanket and beach things and then he got down on one knee and proposed marriage to Amanda. What a surprise!!!!, but Amanda was all in and said “YES”. They talked excitedly about their future and then decided to venture into the water. A short 30 minutes after Sam slide an engagement ring onto her finger, Amanda was hit by a wave and the ring slipped off her finger into the sand and disappeared. They searched but could not find it and with sad hearts they finally returned to their house. Amanda googled “how to find a lost ring” and Ring Finders popped up and she found SRARC and contacted us. Mike Miller was assigned the recovery and he met them on the beach the following morning. It was very rough but he tried anyway but after about 10 minutes later it was clear he could not continue. He kept checking the surf every day and finally 3 days later he was able to hunt and after about and hour he found the ring. Mike called Amanda from the beach and they were still in town so he arranged to meet them. After returning the ring Amanda told Mike the story about the proposal for the first time which is what makes this story so special. They were all smiles and were returning home the next day with a story that will last them a life time.

Ken, Trudy, and daughter Monroe were down from up state New York for a little spring break. They went to the beach across the road from there hotel on Coquina Beach to enjoy a swim in the gulf. There were lots of swells so Ken took Monroe out into deeper water and began tossing her into the air and catching her. After returning to the beach he noticed his wedding ring was missing. They thought it was gone forever but then found SRARC on the internet. He contacted us and made arrangements to meet at the location. Mike arrived knowing it was to rough to hunt but wanted to get the details in case they need to leave before we could hunt. Ring Lost Anna Maria Island, Recovered

Ed and Christi brought the family down to Anna Maria Island from Saint Lewis to celebrate the successful surgery on their son for a brain tumor. It was a time to celebrate after a very tough year of medical procedures. On their first day they of course had to hit the beach. Ed was bouncing his daughter in the waves as they crashed on to the shore, when he felt his wedding ring slip off. He couldn’t believe his bad luck after such a hard year. The ring had never been off his finger since his wedding day and he searched franticly for hours. That evening he found SRARC Ring Finders and they scheduled a hunt for the following day. Since Mike, Nick, and Joe were already on the island the original hunters handed the hunt off to them. Ed had done a great job of identifying where the ring had come off and he led the team right to the site. In a few minutes Mike got the hit and up came the ring. Ed was overcome and was shaking with delight as the ring was returned to his finger. Our prayers are with Ed and Christi’s son for a speedy and full recovery from his surgery.

Lost Ring Anna Maria Island, Recovered

Kristi and Ronnie were out boating with the whole family on two boats anchored up close to the beach on Anna Maria Island near the Sandbar restaurant. They had been married in that area just one year ago. It was getting pretty hot so Kristi and a few others jumped out of the boat to cool down and then all hell broke loose!!!!! A large swell was breaking onto the shore which almost knocked Kristi off of her feet, throwing her toward the shore. As she struggled to regain her footing, she saw her wedding rings float off of her finger and disappear into the gulf. The whole family searched and searched but could not find them. When they finally had to leave, Kristi was heartbroken. Somehow they discovered SRARC Ring Finders and provided information as to where the rings had been lost. The next day Mike Miller searched with no luck in what turned out to be the wrong place. The following day, after getting more information from Ronnie,
Mike returned and was joined by Joe Borg and Nick Hall. They hunted for two and a half hours and were about to give up when Mike got lucky and found both rings about a foot apart. Kristi drove down from Tampa and met the team where they had just complete another successful hunt. When she got her precious rings back she was shaking with joy. Mike got several big hugs and will never forget the smile on her face. Way to go SRARC team.
