The family, playing ball in the water, lost a wedding ring. Elena’s ring slid off her finger in the cool water never to be seen again. A quick look on the internet and SRARC was discovered. Ring Lost Anna Maria Island, Recovered

Ed and Christi brought the family down to Anna Maria Island from Saint Lewis to celebrate the successful surgery on their son for a brain tumor. It was a time to celebrate after a very tough year of medical procedures. On their first day they of course had to hit the beach. Ed was bouncing his daughter in the waves as they crashed on to the shore, when he felt his wedding ring slip off. He couldn’t believe his bad luck after such a hard year. The ring had never been off his finger since his wedding day and he searched franticly for hours. That evening he found SRARC Ring Finders and they scheduled a hunt for the following day. Since Mike, Nick, and Joe were already on the island the original hunters handed the hunt off to them. Ed had done a great job of identifying where the ring had come off and he led the team right to the site. In a few minutes Mike got the hit and up came the ring. Ed was overcome and was shaking with delight as the ring was returned to his finger. Our prayers are with Ed and Christi’s son for a speedy and full recovery from his surgery.

Lost Ring Anna Maria Island, Recovered

Kristi and Ronnie were out boating with the whole family on two boats anchored up close to the beach on Anna Maria Island near the Sandbar restaurant. They had been married in that area just one year ago. It was getting pretty hot so Kristi and a few others jumped out of the boat to cool down and then all hell broke loose!!!!! A large swell was breaking onto the shore which almost knocked Kristi off of her feet, throwing her toward the shore. As she struggled to regain her footing, she saw her wedding rings float off of her finger and disappear into the gulf. The whole family searched and searched but could not find them. When they finally had to leave, Kristi was heartbroken. Somehow they discovered SRARC Ring Finders and provided information as to where the rings had been lost. The next day Mike Miller searched with no luck in what turned out to be the wrong place. The following day, after getting more information from Ronnie,
Mike returned and was joined by Joe Borg and Nick Hall. They hunted for two and a half hours and were about to give up when Mike got lucky and found both rings about a foot apart. Kristi drove down from Tampa and met the team where they had just complete another successful hunt. When she got her precious rings back she was shaking with joy. Mike got several big hugs and will never forget the smile on her face. Way to go SRARC team.

Look Out For That Wave, Lost Ring Recovered In Bradenton Beach, Florida

Alec was at the beach with family and decided to take a swim and sit down out in the ocean on a shallow area when along came a wave from behind that knocked in to him and pulled his ring off his finger. The entire family came out to help Alec look for his ring. They searched for some time and were amazed how quickly it could disappear and figured it was lost forever. Alec made some mental notes on where he was and googled lost ring and metal detectors on line and came across the SRARC website where he got in contact with Stan Flack. Stan quickly sent out some text to find a team member to try and find Alec’s ring. After some searching, team member Jim Thobe answered the call and agreed to meet Alec at the beach a few days later. Jim searched for a long time and finally was able to scoop and recover the ring from the depths of ocean. An amazed and excited Alec, was all smiles. Great work Jim.

Wedding Ring Lost Found and Returned at Holmes Beach, Anna Maria Island, Florida

Steve and Emily were visiting Anna Maria Isand from Chicago for a little R & R from the winter weather. They set a couple of lounge chairs up on the beach and sat down to put on their sun protection. Steve pulled his weeding ring of and set it on his lap, then proceeded to apply the lotion. A few minutes later he felt the urge and got up to go the the restroom. About 20 steps later he remembered he had not returned his ring to his finger. He quickly returned to his chair and began searching the sand for his wedding ring. His wife, Emily, soon joined the search sifting through the sand with her fingers. They had no luck so Steve googled “metal detector rental” and up popped SRARC. He called Mike who was in downtown Bradenton at the time and they agreed to meet as soon as Mike could get down to the beach. Thirty minutes later Mike arrived and Steve lead him to the spot where they had been sitting. In a few swings, bada bing, and the ring was returned to Steve. We had lots of smiles and some cheering from the beach crowd as he returned it to his finger.

Wedding Ring Set Lost, Found, and Returned on Anna Maria Island, Florida

Nellie and Her husband Austin were on Anna Maria Island from Battleground, Washington for spring break and a family reunion. The whole family had walked to the beach for a little fun in the sun Florida style. They set up camp on the beach and soon Nellie’s mother walked into the water. Feeling a little frisky Nellie followed her in and knowing the water was a little cool, She started to splash it up on her mother and the reaction was as you would expect.. A short time later, after things calmed down, Nellie sensed her hand felt a little lite. Looking down she saw that her wedding set was missing. The whole family gathered around and searched frantically for the ring. After an hour Nellie’s brother did a search for lost rings on the internet and up popped SRARC. Mike Miller and Paul Hill were available to meet the family right away while they were still at the beach and after receiving instructions they went to work. In just a few minutes Mike was the lucky one to find the ring. He held it up and they couldn’t believe it had been found. Everyone on the beach cheered and clapped and Mike got a big hug from Nellie. Austin got the ring and went down on his knee and proposed to Nellie all over again. We were all smiling about this perfect ending. SRARC is happy to bring a happy ending to the reunion and give them a story to talk about at their next reunion.
