Yesterday afternoon I got call from Ross explaining that his wife had lost her wedding ring at the beach in the Pierpont area of Ventura. She had been brushing off some sand and in doing so her ring flew off to an unknown stretch of sand. I was out of town at that moment so I told Ross I would get out there at sun up Monday morning and recover the ring for them. He sent me a pin of the general location and I assured him that if it was there I would find the ring.
As stated I got out there just before the sunrise and started working the area gridding and expanding as I went. Jen met me out there and we determined that I should move a bit south and grid there.
