Lost Platinum and Diamond Ring found in Shreveport.

  • from Shreveport (Louisiana, United States)

A lady in our town lost a platinum and black diamond ring. She had lost a lot of weight and was talking to her husband as they were driving in their neighborhood when the ring flew off. She watched it bounce off her husband’s chest and fly out the window. Knowing it had to be in the yard they were passing by, she started looking for it. And looking. And looking. In all, she spent 7 1/2 hours looking for her ring.

Finally, she started Googling and found Ring Finders. She contacted me, and I agreed to search for the ring. I took my 11-year-old grandson along. She showed us where to search and then returned to her house. In my first pass, I located the ring. Ten minutes max.

When she answered her door, I said, “I have something I need to ask you.” She said, “OK.” I asked, “Would you like your ring back?” She answered in the affirmative, and then my grandson held out the ring to her. She then had a time of yelling and hugging. Don’t you just love those happy endings?

Lost Ring Shreveport, Louisiana – Found

  • from Shreveport (Louisiana, United States)

I have always enjoyed reuniting people with their jewelry. One of my favorites is a ring I found 31 years after it was lost. When I contacted the owner, she said, “You couldn’t have found my ring. I lost it in a lake.” Yes, she lost it in a lake. Yes, I found it. I’ve had this kind of experience many times in over 25 years of metal detecting.

When I became aware of Ring Finders, it was a no-brainer to join. If you live in northwest, Louisiana and need help finding something valuable, contact me. As long as what you are looking for is made of metal.
