Why Rent A Metal Detector when you can hire a Metal Detecting specialist and save you so much time and headache…

A friend of mine reached out and told me someone was advertising a very large reward on Facebook for a Lost Ring in White Rock. He asked if they had called me?  I said no I haven’t heard anything about it.

Flashback two days later I get the call, the lady heard about my service from a friend who saw me on Global News a few month back, she told her to reach out to TheRingFinders but by that time she had three people one day with Metal Detector searching for it, with no luck. The second day the same thing, she had two more people with Metal Detectors, who spent the whole day with her trying to help find her engagement ring.

Day 3 this is where I come into the picture, after a lengthy conversation on the phone and asking all my questions I decide that I still had a great chance of recovering this Ring, so we set up a time to meet the next morning, to give it a go.

I met Sarah and her husband Evan, such a lovely couple,  I could feel her pain and how bad she missed her precious… I listen very carefully and ask my questions and set up my grid search exactly where Sara believed it could’ve come off.

Sarah was spot on with her placement of where she believed the paddle board incident happened, where it flipped over and she felt her ring come off. When she came back the next day, she found her sunglasses and her cell phone but not her beautiful diamond ring.

It took me only two or three minutes of searching to find her beautiful ring!

 I love my job!

Metal Detecting Service…Spanish Banks Vancouver

Lost Ring, Cell Phone, Keys… 24/7 Metal Detecting Service- Call ASAP Don’t wait until it’s too late… Chris 778-838-3463.

I received a call yesterday evening in regards to a Lost custom-made silver ring at Spanish Banks Beach… After asking my series of questions this search sounded like it was going to only take a few minutes to find as they knew where it came off. The sand is an amazing thing it’s so hard to find something that you saw land in the sand and trying to dig it out of the sand is nearly impossible without the help of a Metal Detector and the experience of the user.

What most people don’t realize is if you don’t act right away and called the number above your ring could be gone by the next morning or that evening. With the rising price of gold it has created an amazing number of new metal detectorists. Competition is at an all-time high.

As believed this search only took me a minute to find their smile. I love my job and being able to reconnect people with these cherish keepsakes! This ring was custom-made by an artist from New York. It was purchased while travelling in New York and given to her boyfriend.

I love my job!

Yesterday I got a phone call from young man who needed help finding his wedding band that fell below the wood planks on his patio. He search, but could not find it. It was hard for him to lift up the planks to look under, the gaps were big enough for a wedding ring to fall through.

When I got there, I brought my endoscope camera, my Metal Detector, and a test ring on a rope so I could drop it between the cracks and be able to see if my metal detector would pick it up 3 inches down with all the inference from the nails and other bits of metal under the patio.

I started to use my endoscope in areas. I knew my Metal Detector would be having a hard time due to the metal railings. I did not find it and I picked up the Metal Detector and started grid searching the patio. After about 30 minutes, I got a nice  signal so I took out my endoscope took a look under the boards to see his beautiful gold wedding man.

I like searches that are outside of the box not quite as normal as most searches that test my abilities, I was excited to be able to reconnect this young man with his lost wedding band as he was only married for six weeks.

I love my job!

Found Ring at Newton Athletic Park

Metal Detecting service- Lost your ring or any jewelry, car keys, cell phone? Don’t wait until it’s too late. Call ASAP 24/7 service Chris Turner 778-838-3463.

I received a call the other day in regards to a Lost Ring at a park in Newton,  after asking a few questions and being told the  search area wasn’t that big I decided to hit the park first before my beach search as I figured this would be a quicker recovery and I can focus more time on the beach.

When I got there, the young lady showed me the area where she believed the ring was lost and what she thought wasn’t that big of an area turned out to be a big area… I guess what people don’t realize is miss it by an inch miss it by a mile I have to lock down and provide a north south east west grid search in order to eliminate the search area and hopefully find what I’m looking for.

Let’s not forget the questions are so important in order to get you as close to where it was lost and save time, there was four potential search areas. One in the middle wasn’t bad. The two on the sides were tougher and after asking a few more questions we realize there was another area that needed to be searched and as Murphy’s Law would have it that’s where I found it four hours later in the last search area… sometimes it could take minutes to find what you’re looking for other times it can take hours or even longer… the smile makes it worth it

I received a text message in regards to how my service works and what I would charge to find a set of keys, lost on the side of the highway in tall grass or possibly in the ditch. Right away I suspected the worst, meaning someone got mad and threw the keys… I was correct on my assumption and the young man spent most of the night searching for his keys, he had to get his car towed to a friend’s place and then found me online. We discussed the search and decided to meet to find his keys.

This young man expressed how much the keys meant to him as he did not have a spare key for his car and it was going to cost him by the sounds of it over $700. Also the fact he had to have the car towed it becomes very expensive as you could imagine not to mention his work keys and house keys were very important to him.

When we met, he showed me the area and smartly marked the spot where he pulled off to the side of the road before the keys were thrown out of the car. This helps tremendously in having a successful recovery as sometimes I get to areas where people can’t put me in the exact spot. It could be off by 100 yards or more.

It didn’t take me more than five minutes before I found the young man’s keys and I got to see how happy it made him to get them back. I love my job!!!

Last night I got a phone call in the late evening in regards to a Lost gold 24 karat ring at a park. This was a referral from a young lady I had helped just the year before. She told her friend about my service and she called right away.

I put my dinner in the oven and had it right over to that park, knowing that it was time sensitive as the grass is very short there and anybody could happen along and see it the next day.

Play something I got there it was 9 PM. I laid out my tape measures and started the grill in the area. They put me in after my first section of north south grid I went to an east west extended the area and found her cool golden frog just outside of  my markers. ,This was a very lovely  frog with rubies and diamonds a gift from her grandparents. She does not ever have to tell the story if she doesn’t want to now that she’s got it back that’s up to her. I love my job.!!!

Lost Gold Pendent Found in Surrey with Metal Detector…

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Vancouver/Lower Mainland Metal Detecting Service Call 24/7  Chris-778-838-3463

I received a call yesterday afternoon in regards to a young man who lost a gold pendant that was a gift for his first wedding anniversary. He bought a Metal Detector and searched for 2 1/2 days with no luck. That’s when he went online and found me on TheRingFinders website.

He called me late afternoon yesterday we discussed the search and I decided to go out immediately and start looking as this was lost in a public area where someone else could find it. When we met, it was a pretty big area so I pulled out my grid search tapes and started my process.

At about 9 PM four hours into it, I decided to pull the plug grab a bite to eat and just stay there overnight in that location cause I knew I had to come back and research the area after talking to him and finding out a little bit more about extending the location.

I woke up there at 6 AM and started my search, because it was early enough in the morning there was a lot to due on the field making it extremely easy for me to grid search and create grid lines in order to see were I was searching. This saved me a lot of time and within the hour I was able to eyeball his beautiful gold pendent in an area kids were playing soccer and well outside the search area I did the night before. A text message, the young man, the picture of the recovery and instantly responded with gratitude… I love my job!

Metal Detecting Service for all Vancouver Beaches…

Vancouver/Lower Mainland Metal Detecting Service 24/7 don’t wait until it’s too late. Call ASAP Chris 778-838-3463

Well spring has sprung  and calls are coming in now. Last night at 10:30 PM I received a call from a young man who told me his fiancé lost her engagement ring at the beach by the volleyball courts at Spanish Banks. After talking and listening to the story, I felt it was important that we got there sooner than later. There’s a lot of people detecting these beaches and around volleyball courts.

We were set to meet just after 11 PM,  I got to meet the lovely couple and hear their story and they showed me the area they believed the ring was lost. They were only engaged for four months so you can imagine how she must’ve felt to lose such a beautiful ring. Both had very little confidence they ever see it again.

They even purchased a Metal Detector online, but after a bit more research, they found out about TheRingFinders and called…I have  over 50 years of metal detecting experience and I can make searches look easier than they are and I also love to surprise people!

This search only took approximately five minutes before I saw it in my scoop, and was able to surprise this lovely couple with such a beautiful ring that the young man picked out with the help of friends of his fiancé… Very crafty!

24/7 Metal Detecting Service- Vancouver/Lower Mainland… Lost your Ring/Jewellery/Cell Phone/Keys- Contact ASAP. Chris 778-838-3463.

Received a call last night approximately 9:45 PM in regards to a young man who lost his wedding band in some long grass at English Bay Beach. I listen to his story,  he was still there with friends searching with flashlights, but he knew he needed more help.

I asked him how he found my website and he said he just googled and found it very quickly and decided to call for help.

We met around 10:30 PM and I began my search. It was on a slope hill with some short grass and long grass mixed in, it was a tough search due to it was a little slippery and just the angle of the hill made it a little hard to get in a good grid search and do it properly.

Close to one hour of searching I found this young man’s beautiful wedding band. He told me they were together for 12 years so you can imagine what this meant for him to get it back. Unfortunately I didn’t get a video for this search as the important parts were on the camera photo setting... What a rookie mistake!

Lost cell phone found at White Rock Pier

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Lost your Jewellery, cell phone, keys… don’t wait till it’s too late call/24/7  Chris- 778-838-3463

Cell phones…We live on them now and they are crazy expensive. Most of us have them insured bot if you don’t have the phone you dot get a replacement, for us, Canadians AppleCare does not include lost or stolen however, if you go through your provider, most cases, they will offer you lost or stolen for an extra fee. I have mine insured that way because mine cost a lot of money… I think next year I’m going to lease my phone

I was detecting at White Rock beach and I found a phone I put it in my pocket when I got home I cleaned it up took the SIM card out put it in my iPhone and was able to get a contact number off that phone. This phone belong to a young lady and the mother explained how important it was to get it back because without it their plan would cancel for some reason they needed the SIM card. I’ve returned a lot of phones because I know how to retrieve the numbers from them. I still have a lot of phones that haven’t been claimed. Maybe people were on holidays here and just gave up..

This is the young ladies uncle who picked up the phone…
