Marisol & Abdiel came from Kissimmee to enjoy the Gulf Coast for a few days. They joined a few friends on Shell Key to celebrate a birthday and while getting ready to swim Marisol was pulling her shirt off over her head when her new wedding ring flew off and disappeared in the sand. She had received the ring just 27 days earlier in celebration of her Three year anniversary. Luckily, Abdiel saw where the ring flew so they searched in the sand until they had to leave but had no luck. Thinking ahead, Abdiel marked the spot before they left with a stick. Later that evening He googled for lost rings and found SRARC. Joe Szemer made arrangements for Mike Miller to meet them the next morning. Lost Ring Recovered at the Tradewinds on St Pete Beach
Bill and Jenn were staying at the Tradewinds on St Pete Beach to attend the Buc’s Beach Bash this weekend. On Sunday evening they were out on the beach enjoying the events when Bill needed to cool down so he went into the shallow water and sat down in a couple of places. Later that evening he discovered his wedding ring was missing. The next morning he contacted SRARC and a hunt was scheduled. Tim Vorkink happened to be in the area when he received the callout and went right over and met Bill. Tim only had a land machine with him so he covered the area where they had been on the beach. He did not find it so we scheduled a water hunt for later that afternoon. Joe Szemer, Bill Gallant, and Mike Miller met Bill and he showed us the area he was cooling off. Joe took about six steps and up came the ring. We were all smiles and Bill was overjoyed. Another Great day for SRARC ring finders.
