Kat turned to the internet one last time for help to try and find her husbands wedding band. He had been playing water pit sand volleyball when after the games he noticed his wedding ring of ten years was missing. They raked through the sand. Drained the pits and even purchased a metal detector. All with no success. When she contacted me about 2 weeks later I said we would head up the next day and recover it. Zech, one of my sons who helps do recoveries, came along. Little did he know that this would be his first recovery for someone. I worked the mucky pits while he did the upper dry sand. Boom he calls me over after about 25 minutes and says he got a good signal. I’ve been working with him on being patient and working a tight grid. It paid off as he was almost crying out of joy to help others. It was our honor to recover such an irreplaceable symbol of love and commitment between 2 people.

Alex is a driver/leader for a detasseling company. If you know anything about detasseling you know that you start early and work in every condition. Alex got back at the end of a long day and his car wouldn’t start. Not a mechanical issues, issue was he lost his key somewhere. Wow the possibilities of where it could be over the course of the day. The owner of the company looked me up and asked if there was anything I could do. I immediately hopped in the ring mobile and headed to wear he started his long day. Boom 💥 within 30 minutes I had recovered it. Most of the search was conducted with eyes with the aid of a detector. Using my experience of finding lost items gave me good ideas on where to look. We dropped his car and key back off at his house to save him time of getting it.

I got a call with a challenge that I had not encountered yet. A family lost their husband and dad a couple years ago and the cemetery lost where the urn containing his remains was buried. I usually have recoveries where people smile and jump up and down after their item is found. This was a quiet almost graveside ceremony as closure was brought to this family. The headstone which was also put in the wrong location can now assume its proper place. It was my honor to help out this family.

Don found me on the Ring Finders . Com directory after he had unsuccessfully recovered his gold pocket watch he lost. He remembers winding up the spring, putting it in his pant pocket then going out and mowing like he has done many times before. When he got back inside and looked to see what time it was…..well it was time to go look for his watch. He looked through the many nooks and crannies of the mower with no success. He then took his metal detector and searched many times for it. We talked about the details and then we started the search. Of course I put a new set of eyes on the mower as the first and final step. It was our honor to get this life long keepsake back to him.

Lost white gold and diamond ring surprise found after 3 years Blair Nebraska

This recovery starts with a story 3 years ago in 2022. Breanna took her rings off and put them in her pocket to keep them safe. She was coaching some kids sports and didn’t want to damage them. Later she went to put her rings back on and 1 of the 3 was missing. All the rings were custom made and the engagement ring was the one missing. They immediately started searching the area. Got metal detectors, had all the kids down on their hands and knees. She repeated this every night with her husband. After a month they were convinced that it might have got lost in the parking when she got her keys out and someone must have picked it up. Posting on social media had no results………until I joined that private Facebook page looking for cold cases. I reached out to try to get more information. After no success of communicating I decided to go out with the information given in the post and see if i could find it. I laid out my grid and after 3 hours got the signal that I wanted to hear among all the trash. I was then able to get ahold of Breanna a couple days later where she received a video of her ring coming out of the ground. There are lots details to this story. To much to write about. Tanner and Breanna agreed to meet up and share the story when they picked up her ring. Video link below. It was my honor to recover and return this ring on their 20th anniversary. Lost Platinum wedding ring recovered Omaha Nebraska

Conner was taking a short cut home one rainy dark night. This was one of the steepest hills I’ve done a recovery on. He lost his footing, slipped and fell. When he regained himself he noticed his finger felt naked. Yep his platinum wedding ring of 1 year was missing. He figured it just went missing when he fell but he wasn’t 💯 sure. They searched for days and even rented a metal detector. He then turned to the internet where he found the ring finders site. He showed me the area and the rest is history. The video shows just how extreme the area was. It was my honor to recover such a sentimental item for him.

Sue was sitting in her back yard in her wheelchair watching her neice do some spring cleaning. As she sat there she realized her wedding ring of 57 years was not on her finger. Her husband passed a couple years ago and this ring was a constant reminder of the years they shared. For 3 days she looked around the house trying to find it with no success. She finally got on the internet and found The Ring Finders and gave me a call. After talking with her I decided to drop by her place and take a look around. We talked about her recent activities and I felt the yard was the best place to start. The rest is history. Its a short video but you can see how much she cherished the ring. It was an honor to recover it for her. I love my job.
