How to find a lost ring in the water? Call me, it’s what I do. (864)535-4347, Dwight Childress. I have over 8 yrs of metal detecting experience land and water with scuba certifications for those deeper recoveries. On this particular recovery I got the call about a couple walking their dog near a very popular swimming area in Downtown Greenville. The woman slipped and lost her ring in the water. I came prepared to snorkel and search for her ring. As I was wading along sweeping my detector, I heard a loud beep! Something much bigger than a ring. I donned my snorkel gear and submerged. I came up with a ring and a phone. Excitedly she exclaimed, “oh wow you found my phone also!” Yup she wasn’t as worried about her phone so never mentioned it but still very excited to have it back. It was a great recovery.

Rob and his beautiful lady friend were coming in late and as she pulled the apartment key from her purse the car fob popped out as well and they heard it bounce off of the concrete sidewalk and then nothing. They figured it fell into the short wispy bushes and they searched with the lights on their cell phones but could not locate the hidden fob. The next morning they searched again and still no fob. They went online and found theringfinders.com website and gave me a call. Two hours later I met them at their apartment and Rob was positive about the location where the fob dropped so it was a matter of scanning the bushes with my ATMax metal detector and a double check with my Garrett AT Pro pin pointer and BINGO!

They were so happy to have their car fob again and I was happy to be a help and blessing to them.
