Lost Wedding Ring in Sand at Bolsa Chica State Beach, CA. .. Found Next Day

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

Ali’s family was spending a week at Bolsa Chica State Beach RV camp grounds. A vacation that they have been looking forward towards after making reservations over a year ago.

They had only been there for a couple days when Ali was given her husbands’s white gold wedding band to hold onto while he went swimming in the ocean. Ali put the ring into the pocket of her beach chair and the rest of the story is the same as many other ring losses that I’ve had this year. I’m calling this “ The Year of The Beach Chair Ring Losses”

The next day Ali called me asking for help. She felt guilty for not remembering that the ring was in her beach chair and it fell into the sand when she picked up the chair. I told her how often that this happened and that our chances of finding it were good. She showed me the location and after the first three grid passes I had the ring in my scoop. She wasn’t watching, so I walked up to her asking what the ring looked like. As she answered, I held up the ring.

A look of relief followed by a genuine thank you. She was one happy lady and very grateful to have found this service and now they can continue their vacation on a happier note. I love being able to have the time and experience to help people like Ali.
