Received a call from Paul regarding a very sentimental gold, diamond ring lost in his backyard in Langhorne, PA. Paul and his wife, Gwen, were washing the patio furniture with sponges, brushes and buckets of soapy water when Gwen’s spectacularly beautiful and sentimental ring came up missing. To say Gwen was distraught about losing her ring would be an understatement! The ring was a gorgeous custom made ring with material inputs from her mother, husband and son. She was close to tears when she was telling me how much it meant to her and how important it was that I find! I immediately went to work. I first scanned the small grass lawn where they were working. No luck there. Gwen had told me that she had also moved the cleaning operation at one point to an opposite corner but it was mostly patio stone with a border of Pachysandra. I decided to scan the pachysandra first…it didn’t take long! I immediately received a “gold ring”signal in my metal detector’s headphones…i bent down on my knees and pulled out my handheld pinpointer. It took less than 10 seconds in the deep shrubs to expose her amazingly beautiful ring! How happy I was to be able to come through for Paul and Gwen and get Gwen’s ring back on her finger!
