I received a text late in the evening from Keri, who had been on the beach earlier that day and lost a beautiful diamond stud earring. I asked whether she had a good idea of where it came off and if she was certain it had been lost on the beach, because if so, it should still be right where they had been sitting. I also explained how important that was, since diamond stud earrings are extremely difficult to find.
She was eager for me to come look for it, but I told her I wouldn’t be able to make it that night because it was getting dark and the next day would offer the best chance of finding it. I told her to send me a text when I was heading that way, and she could meet me on the beach.
It had started to rain, which was no problem as long as there was no lightning. When we got to the beach, she showed me the area where she had been sitting. Fortunately, I had the matching earring with me so I could listen for the signal on my machine and tune it for the best possible response. Just a few swings later, I got the same tone, and sure enough, there was Keri’s earring.
She was absolutely stunned and could not believe I had found it. I told her she was very lucky, as many diamond stud earrings are never recovered. It was another great day for NJ Ring Finder, helping turn a stressful situation into a happy ending for a grateful customer.
