The Vanderbilt Ring That Took a Swim

Wilden was out in the lake enjoying some time with his wife, tossing a football back and forth, when things took an unexpected turn. As Wilden threw the football to his wife, his newly acquired college ring slipped right off his hand and disappeared into the lake.
This wasn’t just any ring—it was his Vanderbilt University college ring, and his wife had just bought it for him about two days earlier! Needless to say, Wilden was probably already starting to think about how comfortable the doghouse was going to be.
I headed out to help and began searching the lake. Luckily, the water was only about 3–4 feet deep, making the search a little easier. It didn’t take long before I located Wilden’s Vanderbilt ring resting beneath the water.
Ring recovered, crisis averted, and most importantly… Wilden is officially out of the doghouse!
Another ring found, another happy ending.
