I received a call from Fergus after his wife’s wedding band and engagement ring were lost on the side of the road during an evening walk. Despite the 90+ temperatures a search of the stretch of roadside in Newcastle ended in a successful recovery. I have answered a couple calls where rings were removed and lost, this is a common practice when fingers swell during hot weather, be sure to keep them secure if you take them off.
