When my phone rang and I saw the number was from Switzerland, I almost didn’t answer. I’m sure glad I did.
On the other end was a woman visiting Canada who had just lost a very special ring while swimming at one of our local beaches. Luckily, she was nearby, so we grabbed our gear and headed over right away.
After a short search in the water, we got the signal we were hoping for. The ring was found and safely returned to a very relieved and happy owner.
Sometimes the calls you almost don’t answer turn into the best recoveries!
