Maureen called to see if I could help find her husband’s wedding ring, which she had accidentally dropped in the sand earlier that day. They were visiting her mother and had decided to enjoy a warm afternoon at the beach and do a little fishing. Her husband had given her the ring to hold for safekeeping while he fished, but somehow it slipped from her hand into the soft, powdery sand.
