Lost Phone On The Beach, Seaside Heights NJ, recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

I received a call from Ashley later on in the evening wondering if I could help her recover her cell phone that she lost on the beach the night before. I told her it should be no problem and asked her for some of details and she explained that they were on the beach after dinner the night before and at some point when she put down her coat, her phone must’ve slipped out and her youngest child apparently picked it up and buried it in the sand. Her phone showed the location as right in front of one of the stands on the boardwalk and that’s where we decided to start. I made about a dozen or passes back-and-forth and decided to widen the search a little further when I got a promising signal that I could almost guarantee was her Cell Phone. I lightly pushed away the sand and there it was about 3 inches under the sand. I snapped a few pictures shut off my machine and started walking toward her. When I got about 10/15 feet away I held the phone up to show her and she was absolutely amazed. She didn’t think I would be able to find it knowing how far a three year-old could run around on the beach. It could have been a never-ending search, but we made short work of it and now the phone is safely back in her possession.
