Wedding Ring Lost At Beach, Lavallette NJ, recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder
Erin reached out to me by text asking if I had availability to come to Normandy Beach to help recover her husband Matt’s lost wedding ring. Sometime during their beach day, Matt had taken his ring off, and it had disappeared in the sand.
I agreed to meet Erin early the following morning before the beach became busy. I told her I would send a text with my ETA once I was on my way.
After parking, I met Erin at the beach entrance, and she walked me directly to the area where they believed the ring had been lost. She had done an excellent job marking the location, which always makes a recovery much easier.
About halfway through searching the small area, I got a solid signal. I was pretty confident it was Matt’s wedding ring. A quick scoop of sand, a shake of the basket, and there it was sitting in the bottom of my scoop.
Erin was amazed that we found it so quickly. I told her that when someone is able to accurately mark the location of the loss, the chances of a successful recovery are extremely high.
