Ron had contacted me about finding a property pin on his big acreage. As we were talking after the pin was found he mentioned that he had lost his wedding ring about 7 years ago when he broke through the ice on the pond. I came back another day and we walked the area trying to recall as many details as possible about the day he lost it. Well many pull tabs, fishing weights and bullets later I decided to fan out in the opposite direction that we thought his ring might have gone. This is how most recoveries are. We were in the right spot just the wrong direction. Always an honor to recover such irreplaceables for people.
