Gerald was enjoying some late summer fishing from his kayak on the lake. Of all the items he equipped himself that day with, one was a fishing pole that he got when he was 12 when his dad taught him to use it. He lost his balance and went port side in. As his life jacket kept him afloat, 4 rods, 2 tackle boxes and a pair of pliers sank quickly as he grabbed the kayak and flipped it back over. He returned the next day and tried to magnet fish for anything that might stick. After 2 hours the only thing that stuck was the magnet between 2 big rocks at the bas of the dam. This seemed like a good challenge so I hit the lake a few days later and the rest is history. Was my honor to recover his items especially the irreplaceable rod that held so many memories.
