Shawn and Cheri were enjoying the beautiful lake side camping with friends and family. Lake MacConaughy is a cool lake compared to many in Nebraska as it has springs that feed it. Late in the evening Shawn took one last cool down swim in the lake and that’s when it happened. His ring of 21 years symbolizing his love and commitment to his wife and family came off. They searched for hours. Taking turns diving with the kids goggles and feeling around. Devastated they had to call it a night. The next day Cheri found me on the internet and told me of the situation. This is exciting why I added dive recoveries to my services. I told her I could come out the next day as it was getting late already. Shawn showed me the are and I determined that a grid line parallel to the waterline was going to be the game plan.
